I suggest that Newfie moves to Montreal. You know the old saying. There are two kinds of Canadian cities, those that have a Major League Baseball team and those that used to have a Major League Baseball team! Just kidding, Newfie! That really is a great promotion. |

I am sure, in the interests of fairness that the Harley Davidson Company (Canada AND U.S.) has made provisions for entry(ies) from each and every part of Canada. If they have not, any competent attorney could get a settlement from them (H-D) at least equal in value to the top prize for any eligible person who sought such compensation for discriminatory practice(s). Asking someone to travel over 2000 km AND pay over $100.00 in order to enter just might be perceived as exclusionary. I read the rules, "To enter the contest, complete the ballot and deposit in the ballot box at participating Buell Retailers in Canada." Maybe, somewhere that I can't see it says : Contest is open only to those individuals who are legal residents of Canada, who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, except that the following are excluded from participating in the contest: employees, officers, agents and representatives of Harley-Davidson Motor Company (“Sponsor”), Fred Deeley Imports Ltd., contest judges, and those domiciled with any of the foregoing, including residents of Newfoundland because they ride too much and don't buy enough Buells. Just my thoughts, consult an attorney of your choice... Newfie should split a flat in T.O. with Mr. Grumpy, they both need it... Did I say that out loud??? Oz |
