What kind (brand, flat or gloss) of paint did you use? Are those pictures of the guy with road rash pictures of you? How did that happen? Mike. |

i just used normal gloss black, it was some cheep brand in the garage. The break lever was done by a friend who knocked my bike over and replaced everything on it that was damaged. But!!! I liked the lever cause it has a perfect bend and is good for two fingers. And yes the road rash is Mine, It happend 2 weeks ago, I wrecked my ninja 2003 zx6r i was wareing a long sleave t shirt and thats it. So for those of you who think a long sleave will protect you in some way, it doesnt... It just rolls up when your rolling. I tested it out... I was doing a 2nd gear stand up wheelie and riding it like normal just caught my exhaust on the ground. I went down at about 55 or 60. there are pics of the wrecked bike on there also, im selling it if anyone is interested for 2k$ it has 8k miles and it still has a clean title. http://members.tccoa.com/rjpeters/wreck/ |

Can you say.....bad karma bike? Glad you're OK, but no riding gear and "doing a stand up wheelie and riding it like normal"? Gee, great for the oil supply and sounds a bit squidly to me. I'm a bit sensitive to this dumb stuff since I recently lost a good friend on the Cherohala Skyway. She was wearing full gear, never horsed around, and could outride many of the sportbike guys. A car came around a corner well into her lane. Gone in an instant. |

sorry to hear about that zx9r, Yes it was very squidly of me. The thing that sucks is i have a joe rocket jacket that i normally use. But i went on a 100 mile trip to my buddies house in phx mid day in az sun. I wasnt thinking and well got stupid. Wheelies used to be damn fun but i figure its not worth it. ben |

Looks like that 6R was used to the gravel judging by the re-spray. |
