Have been read this board for about a year now, thought it was about time to register. Great information along with a cast of characters (or should I say criminals) Anyway, enough sucking up. Just installed the Techlusion went flawless, no problem. I have a question regarding the instructions. Instructions read: Buell-all fuel injected models G=3 Y=7 R=4 RPM=7 Question shouldnt the RPM setting be 4.5-5.0 as this is where the Main or the red pot kicks in? 70% of 6800 redline is 4760. |

RPM setting is for O2. I was told to leave it at setting 7. |

Great information along with a cast of characters (or should I say criminals) I know what you mean, there's a lot of hooligans and the like that hang out here. |

Those are just arbitrary marks on the pots-It simply allows you to set each pot to a specific value of resistance in the circuit. That said Techlusion is simply using those numbers as base values for Buell. The RPM pot determines at what rpm the red pot (main) kicks in. After writing this and looking in the TFI manual, I see what you mean. The manual does say that a 4:00 setting mean the main comes in at around 4,000 rpm. Not sure what they mean by that and I see your point. The best thing would be to call George at Techlusion and ask him. Please let us know what you find out. Ultimately, I think some dyno runs would provide the real proof. But then not many of us have the time and money for that. xbolt12 |

Thanks for running these TFI threads guys. I'm very interested in the outcome but time & money restraints has put it back burner for me for some time. |

did you have to cut wires, or did techlusion come with proper connectors to connect to the injector harness? |

Fullpower, no cutting or splicing of wires, unit came with all connectors in proper order. Took maybe and hour to install. Also, George from Techlusion confirmed that the RPM setting on the unit is to be left set at 7 it is suppling voltage to O2 sensor. |
