Get some overgloves, work as wind protectors. I've got a set from Aerostich Rider's Wearhouse. Really cuts the wind chill down. And CJ, I don't know everything, in fact I know very little relatively speaking, but I do know that with a little effort much can be learned in relatively short order. It's not what you know, it's knowing where to find what you need to know that often makes the most difference. |

Stopped by Lake Country Motorsports here in Waukesha to look at some gloves. They didn't have my size for the gloves I wanted, so the guy said he could order them. I told them I needed them by Sunday for the crud run. Well one thing led to another, so now we have a couple of Ducati guys comin' with us The guy who works there, was the guy who crashed because of those kids that ran the plastic wrap across the hwy in Waukesha. |

Daves, Yup, that seems to be the plan. According to the last Brew City Brag meeting, we're to meet at Hal's at 8:00AM and leave by 8:30AM. And then meet up with you guys in Madison at the Starbucks? |

Hey Steve, I met the fellow from Lake Country that suffered the Saran Wrap trap. If he is one of the Duc riders you are bringing, I applaud you! He is a really nice fellow and I would be pleased to be with him anywhere, anytime. |

Seriously doubt I will going, we have go-karting in Buffalo grove saturday night..our first race is scheduled for 8pm & we have 4 races total. Probably going to be lucky to get home before 1-2am. Think I will sleep in, watch some football & enjoy the day...in warmth. Also get everything ready for track day monday. |

Outrider, no applause needed, but thank you. But yes, he is the one that will be there Sunday morning. Nice guy. The only reason we started talking about it, is I was looking for some warm gloves, and said I needed them by Sunday morning for the Crud run. He seemed quite interested. So I asked him to join us at Hals. He was apprehensive about joining a bunch of "Buellers" at first. I assured him we're not "brand bigots", and he would be welcomed. |

Well after going out on the patio this morning with my coffee, I am for sure not going, too cold for me !! Wish it were warmer, but there will be other days !! Not saying I won't ride, me and fiery might ride at lunch, find a place to watch the Packers play, but I don't want to be that far from home when I'm cold and ready to go home !! Then I want to be home FAST !! Hey Mackay, can you get a pic of everyone who shows up at Hal's in front !? It would be a cool thing to put in the newsletter, and you guys deserve some kudos for doing this ride !! CJ |

My new brake pads are in place, and the forecast is creeping warmer. I'm out of excuses to stay home, so I'll see whoever at Hal's. For those of you sitting on the fence, I can offer the following: * heated vest, size 42, needs battery connection (same as a Battery Tender) * Buell touring pants, XL, w/ or w/o insulation * insulated gloves, medium email me direct, if you want me to bring something along. |
