The biggest pain in installing the jardine is that you have to remove the curved bracket underneath the bike that the stock pipe sits against. It just so happens that the oil lines go through that bracket so you have to remove the oil lines. Only one of the three lines will flow oil when you remove it, but it will be messy. Its easier to just drain the oil and do an oil change while your doing the pipe. Other than that it was quite easy. |

Does anyone know of %@ material that will last more than a day of canyon blasting? My kerker muffler has been repacked now fourteen times, the last with fireblanket fiberglass insulation that's 'sposed to be impervious to heat(2200 degrees),makes Misato's force sound positively sedate, may have to actually purchase a pipe someday! |

Try metal shavings from your friendly neighborhood machinist. |

Ortegakid, I've speculated that Perlite or Vermiculite might make a decent packing material. However I haven't had a chance to try it out myself.

Hogs I've got a D&D on my 12 now and had a Drummer before that.I've been next to a Force on a 9 side by side in the past and if I had rate the D&D on a scale 1-10 I'd rate it a 8 in comparison, not to far behind. |

BAdS1, Thanks pal, Great.. Was wondering IF the Force was that much louder I do`nt think so now based on that..The Latus must be close behind the D&D then I have one of them ..I`ll think I`ll try that on the CG tomorrow after I get the first 1000 mile check up done.. Young fella has the Drummer on he seems to like that even still only 15 next year he will be on the road... |
