Bart, Just got off the phone with Jerry, JB2 and 'Hillbilly' Ed Manning, currently sipping beers on a patio somewhere in Kentucky. They wanted me to give you a shout, and hope everything is going well with you. Sounds like their trip is going great, headed to Indiana tomorrow and hoping to beat the rain. On a side note, did you get my voice mail a week or so ago? Give me a call when you get a chance. I'll be back in Michigan in a little more than a week, let me know when you'll be up that way. Hey you pack of WannaBee #ss&*$*s! I haven't been on the webb for 2-3 weeks and I see you talkin about me. Yeah-Brian is right about one thing-if Bart needs a scooter-I have plenty of em to choose from. (Other than the Tuono-that would be too fast for him)!hehehe Warp2 and Brian did certainly corrupt me-Italian goodies are a whole lot more expensive than the Buells. I had to go back and actually start working again in order to buy accessories for the new bike. No one has any used or misused parts lying around for the Aprilia. We're leaving my house Saturday morning for a ride to Patagonia for breakfast. If any locals are interested-7:00am Saturday 9/17. We'll be back before the rain hits! Keep your fingers crossed because Brian will be with us.(RainMagnet) Bart-when you're up and runnin-I have Buells for you to ride. Hey, while I was back in NY visiting with my Mom, we were going over some of my old riding pics, LOL Here's a pic of me in 1981 on a trip back to New Hampshire... Notice the proper usage of the helmet, and the riding apparel.  Here is how I used to pack. Saddlebags? Tankbag? What are they? All I needed was my trusty dufflebag, LOL As usual, the rain was close by.  And here is one of the first times I was published. You see, the Fuell mag wasn't the first time my pic made it on the front page...  I still chuckle when I think back to those early years and what I endured just to ride... Hmmm, things haven't changed much. Just the brand I ride. | ||

 WTF??? Woke up this mornin' to go meet Al for a quick ride to Sonoita and there's thunder outside! It's been raining all day. Isn't too early in the season to start calling me the "weather magnet" again? | ||

Brian, Left my house at 7:30am for Patagonia. Road was wet, but never got one drop of rain on me. Front Exhaust flange came off by the time I got to Patagonia. Took it back to Performance today and they put new gaskets back in and of course new nuts & Lock Washers! That should make a difference! I rode the S-2 down there so It'll be broken in for Bart. Took the Ultra Classic over to a guys house today that wants to buy her-almost got drenched coming home from his house at 2:30 pm. If you want - maybe you could do a quick ride up Lemmon with me in the AM at round 7:00. Let me know. | ||
