Well it's official. The camper is gone and my wife is now the proud owner of a black 2004 Buell Blast. I hope she'll attend this coming meeting on the 31st. Of course I have to ride the bike home. She's only rode our son 80cc dirt bike which she managed to ride into a cyclone fence. Hey wait.. Buell....CYCLONE fence. It was meant to be. And I was suprised at the deal that Uke's gave us. Must help when ya pay cash. I hope she gets more use out of the bike than we did the camper!! And weather permitting we'll see hopefully most of you at Danas' bike show this weekend. PEACE! |

Bads, see ya there! Rocket, don't worry about the whole cyclone fence thing... the first time McGrath rode a dirt bike(note: it was a 80 too) he hit a cyclone fence so hard had to be untangled from it and he turned out to be the best offroad racer ever. CONGRATS on the new bike. |

"best offroad racer ever" Well, I think Ricky has something to say about that, even though I like Jeremy better. |

Dana, Sorry I didn’t stay longer but I get uncomfortable in large crowds. Are you posting pictures of the bikes and the event? There was a bike with an old style springer competing. I could not find the owner/builder of the bike. I’m attempting to track down the shop so I can identify the front end on the bike. (Message edited by jon6516 on August 30, 2004) |

I will be participating in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure on September 19th and I'd like your support. Every year we try and support Cancer research through either the American Cancer sSciety and the Road America Run or the Milwaukee Race for the Cure. This year due to work obligations, I will not be able to participate in the Road America run, but will be running (sans leathers)in the Race for the cure instead in honor of my Mom, Sally Orloff - breast Cancer survivor since 1992. I'll be running with a team of Harley-Davidson and Buell Employees. I am thankful that treatment technologies and early detection screenings are allowing woman like my mom to live happy and fulfilling lives after diagnosis. Please donate a few dollars to any one of our H-D team participants (See the H-D team for a list of participants) at the web site below to help support future research efforts. I appreciate your generosity, Racerx1 http://raceforthecure.kintera.org |

Thanks for the donations guys! much appreciated... Have a little show and tell for the meeting tonight: Jamie McNaughton's AMA pro-star V-Rod. This bike makes over 200hp, runs 9:20's @ 145mph in the quarter with a mandatory 150lb ballast, no wheelie bar, and a DOT rear tire. is in 2nd place in the Yamaha sponsored prostar series (with a good chance of winning with a couple of races left) and has set fastest ET and highest MPH. At Hals last weekend, it did an 8.41 1/4 on that dyno drag thing. I do all the EFI tuning on it. Wicked bike. Oh yea, its street legal too! What time again? |
