first wreck i've ever had in the 6 years ive been riding. i was going thru a turn doing around 50...there was a hump in the road that i thought i was going to avoid, but couldn't. next thing i know, im aiming for the sidewalk, and missed it by a couple feet. smacked the 8 inch curb, and smacked the tree that was 5 feet in front of me. by the time i hit the curb, i was probably doing 30. both wheels on the bike are toast, front forks, gauges, headlights, fairing, are wasted. from what i heard, the middle section of the bike look untouched. the back part of the seat did sustain a small scratch, along with the rear piece that holds the tail light. i was taken to the hospital and they found nothing broken inside of me. got a good case of roadrash on my left arm and my right shin. the left side of my torso is also really really sore. but im recovering. i should be back to work on monday. i hope my bike is ok. had it for one month, and had almost 3000 miles on it. |

Dang....that sucks. Heal up and glad your bike took the worst of it. It's easier to replace the broken bits on a bike then on you! |

Moedank....just 50? Glad to see your doing better. When I saw your bike on the side of the road I thought you were toast! Bike took a beaten, but no frame damage. That's great, unless you were holding out for the 2005's. Ride safe...and remember you don't always have to be first. Hattrick |

Glad to hear you made it. Flying human projectiles & trees usually don't mix very well (for the survival of the former)! Good luck with the recovery and take it easy out there. Ride safe. |

Glad to hear that you'll be ok. Three and a half months after my crash, and I'm still recovering. I can't wait to get my new 'Bolt. I'm sorry that it happened, but knowing you'll be fine is a great. |

yeah. im doing better. my arm is healing and i can actually walk around now. i talked to the shop and they are supposed to start working on it sometime next week. i just have a feeling my bike wont ever be the same as it was before the wreck. it's not going to have that "brand new" feeling anymore. =( |

it's not going to have that "brand new" feeling anymore. =( Yeah, its gonna have that "My bike hit a tree at 30mph and I all gots was this stinking T-shirt" feel to it. Good luck with the insurance company. Glad you are okay, heal up quickly |
