No it will not. The new 05's have a different set-up and so have a different Race ECM.

It hasn't been determined that its using the interactive muffler, but it has been surmised that the throttlebody and injectors from the 12 are bing used. Now the interesting question is would this be back dateable...IE if you made the same mods on your 9 could you then use the new Race ECM to good benefit.

One might ask, is Buell trying to thwart the aftermarket.
Looks as though scanalizers and the like are hitting the market for the '02-'04 models.
Changing the fuel injection system would make the aftermarket start over again.
Or, from what I've read, the '05's use the 12 TB to meet emissions.
This is of course is taking it for granted the 9 injectors are being used.
This is the first I've heard that the 12 injectors are also being used.
Would that mean bigger makes leaner?
Meaning if ya gotta 9 ya want the '02-'04 TB.
Me? I don't claim to know at all, just giving food for thought.

There could also be some cam changes and such that we don't know about. I don't think it has anything to do with the aftermarket scanners.

XB9 City isn't using the valve so its safe to say the 9R isn't as well. But the Throttle and the stack looks identical to whats on my 12.

The 9 and 12 injectors would surely be the same P/N on all models? No?

For the 03/04 models no they aren't, or atleast when I have asked in the past I was told no they weren't. I am thinking that now with the 05's they are the same.
