Blue - Mikes Bikes is on 1st & division in the OC. Steve Heller is the owner. Looks like I will be working for the promoter of the chopper show from Wednesday till Monday. We need to pick a date and time to meet. Steve Haynes | ||

Grrrr! Emailed the local Harley establishment over a week ago for some parade applications. I got a reply from a different party that they would be glad to fax some apps. I sent my fax info and waited a week. Nothing. Emailed the info a second time and was told, too late, all full up. If anyone has an extra app or two let me know. Kind of puts a damper on the parade idea. I would be more than willing to take the Buell contingent on a slightly faster parade route of my own creation though. SteveH | ||

Steve, Already too late to send in apps. They claim to have filled all 500 slots already. I'm up for some spirited riding and will check out the festivities at the Bike Week site.(Ocean Downs Racetrack) May or may not go to the Convention Center where the builders show will take place. Anyone coming can stop by my shop and check in with me. If coming in via Rt. 50 just cross the bridge into O.C. and come straight off the bridge,my shop is straight ahead on the corner of N.Division St. and Baltimore Ave. You will recognize it due to the bicycles parked out front. Steve, The promoter of the chopper show has asked me to help him starting Wednesday. I'm still up for some riding and I will hit some of the Racetrack events as well. My knee is still kinda sore from my lowside last week, but I'll be fine. The XBs in good shape except for a cracked mirror and scraped up frame sliders. I'm awaiting a couple of parts from Daves, but I think they may not show up in time. I will positively make time to stop by the store. | ||
