Hey funny this post came on. I need some new wires too. I took mine off today and saw that vibration has just about worn through the boots. Not happy about that after only 4500 miles. Who has some REASONABLY priced? Didn't know Buell made PRO XB ones, do they? |

Dana, you go to your corner and quit it with Donnie. Donnie, if you wouldn't try and make points about someone who isn't liked on this board due to the way he presented himself and his products on this board there wouldn't be any troll baiting going back and forth. I am glad that Corey has done right by you. Good on you that you found someone YOU can trust. We aren't telling you not to spend your money with him...well maybe some of us are. But its your money Donnie, spend it as you see fit. Corey just misrepresented himself on this board and apparently a few others as well. Every time you bring him up your throwing out troll bait. You know it and several people here on the board can't avoid throwing the bait right back at you. Buell offers the XBPro series wires. You can order them through our sponsor board. Or I beleive some others have used Accel for a sportster wires. I am not certain on that about the Accel's but its a fairly safe bet. |

On closer inspection the front HT lead was worn through where it had been rubbing on the throttle cable. £34.00GBP got me two new leads & a pair of pro-series plugs, problem solved.......... |

Just to clarify here -- we are talking about wires here, not plugs. To that extent, Buell does make PRO series plugs, but NOT wires for the XB. Seems like a shame. Has anybody actually used Nology wires on an XB? I didn't think there was enough length to make them work -- plus with such a short run, why bother with shielded wires anyway? Are you running a HiPo coil or something? |

Uh, no they don't! They make them for the tubers, but NOT for the XBs. Sure any fool can take tuber wires and stick 'em on an XB. Just tie a knot in the really long one, huh? However, check the Buell Pro Series parts book, or the Pro Series page on the website, and you'll find plugs, but NOT wires for an XB! on edit -- Got any part numbers you can share with us non-tokers?
