Pammy - good to see" you back on the board 100% cotton for sure. The blends tend to get pretty ripe pretty quickly ... Henrik |

Pam, Cotton rocks, the only place synth belongs is in your oil tank or tranny. BTW, how do the rest of us get one of those new T's? |

Cotton! I dig t-shirts! Thanks. I had something to do with it? Glad Charlie missed y'all. Was thinking you would be evacuating there for a while. |

On the KTM deal, has anybody considered the fact that the dollar VS the Euro is a major factor to consider when importing bikes into the US, IE the Euro is so high that it adds somewhere around %30 to the price of everything coming from overseas an Example i know for a fact that a Ducati Tank just a few short years ago cost around $1500, this year however the price has jumped to over $1800, maybe the bike is done, maybe Ktm is waiting for the right time to release the bike, so that its price point is closer to reality, and not some overpriced bike, that sits instead of sells, as has been mentioned before, theres more to selling bikes than just making them R |

My first thought was 100%. I think he was trying to push some shirts on me. Didn't work. The art work is still being completed (hopefully this week)then they will print the shirts. Blake, you gave me the idea for the shirt with that banner you made for us. I had a funny cartoon pop into my head as soon as I saw it. Hopefully it will come out as I have imagined. I will send Blake a T when they are completed and maybe he can post a picture. I am glad Charlie missed us as well. It was supposed to tear right through my home. That little cold front out of Texas saved us. I feel bad for all the folks that were effected but the area up here is more densely populated and the $$ amount would probably have been triple. We lucked out...The Cross is working there hinies off down there..If you folks can afford to contribute, please do. The devistation down there is unbelievable. They have had about 15 million in donations and they estimate that when all is said and done, they will need about 50 million total. We could set up an account and send one big Badweb check if you were willing... Thank you all for your input. |

Ara...it's not too bad...on the low end it's no louder, when you're hard on the throttle it's fierce, though...a lot like the big "factory" exhausts on a lot of Buell Thunderbikes. I have a truck with dual glasspacks that my wife drives everyday at 3 in the 'morn. Never wakes me up! There's competition...imports with huge tips, many louder trucks than mine. I'm just keeping things even in the neighborhood sound wars. |

Buell's and Aprilia's peacefully playing together....it brings a tear to my eye!! I spaced taking my camera when I joined my buddy and a bulletin board acquaintance of his that also has a Mille. I'll see if I can get something "postable" this weekend, though it will probably be with the bikes static. |

That's so hilarious Rick. My wife drives my 75 Ford High Boy equipped with glass packs. Guys come up to her all the time like, "NICE truck!" She just says she'll be sure and tell her husband. Same deal though... Wakes up the neighborhood when she leaves for work... |

My wife gets that stuff all the time...it's an 80's Dodge 1/2 ton. Other pickup drivers look all the time...we think it's truck envy...or maybe wife envy...who knows. |

Well OK, but I'd really like to sneak some fiberglass into the pipes on my neighbor's Harley. Or maybe a banana. |

Speaking of glasspacks...I've got 'em on my other bike, a 97 Valk, hidden inside 3-ft. semi stacks.

on S2s (and RSs) there is a spring helping hold the headlight in place. Anyone got a dimension on the spring? I'm going to try an autoparts place and hope it's a standard size. |

Just got home with my 02 Cyclone and was surprised to see the manual quotes 91 HP while the X1 and tourer are at 101. I was under the impression they were now the same motors. Do they both use thunderstorm heads, is the cam the difference? Curious George Please respond to penick@nettally.com |

Was that a Badwebber in Taneytown, Maryland on Monday August 23rd on an X1W? It stood out like a good looking sore thumb next to a nondescript UJM. Looked like the rider was interested in the UJM though. I was driving back from Gettysburg with the family (am visiting the mother-in-law), heading back to California this afternoon (Saturday August 28th). Just curious. |

George, The main differences between the motors are the cams (Buell Lightning cams as opposed to stock Sportster grind on the M2) and the fuel injection-although I prefer a well-tuned Mikuni any day of the week. |

Well the assembly process has started.... Note to self! Clean up the trailer before starting back again. Being as since I am doing this in my trailer/garage and quarters are abit tight. I tripped over something and ended up with a 6" gash my palm. Gonna be rough reading my life lines again. A couple of things of interest(to me at least). -The XB cyls take up a lot of space. I like how they fill in the V though. -The BANKE frame brace is a close fit with the extra amount of cooling fin area. -I really like the NRHS front mount. Thanks Al, and thank you Aaron. |

Hey guys, I am back on line, looks like it may take awhile to get caught up on some reading. I was also wondering about the heads on the X-1s and M-2s are they all Thunderstorms? Thanks to everyone who rode with Alex in my stead on his trip across America. Thanks Mr. Dunn for the black rims for my bike. They look pretty sharp, I even got a compliment from AWPRIOR himself. And OCBueller, you have to keep your shop open about five minutes longer. Myself and my girl were down there the weekend after the fourth of July, and stopped in about 5 minutes after you closed the doors. Could not see anybody inside the shop, we wanted you to head down to the Red Eyed Frog for some drinks. I will be sure to give you more advanced warning next time. I am back in Indiana PA, anyone in the riding in the area, give a shout. Amazing Nobody, get that sweet S-1W up here so we can ride. I will get those tires from Prior this weekend, we can throw them on real quick and start putting miles on them. Brian |

For those of you who support mandatory helmet laws, it will please you to know, that the state of LA, after a short period of freedom will again revert to its old lid law. Gov. Blanco (a female) will (or has already) sign this legislation when it reaches her desk. From 30/20 we will now drop to 29/21... Thanks God its a flat state with unintersting topography. |

All X1's are "Thunderstormed", as are all M2's after '99. |
