Uh, ahem, pic? I've been humiliated and chastised in my life beyond any measure of a fair share, so I gave myself a pass. Thanks for noticing though. Blake No problem, just funnin', but you knew that. Thought you might like the coffee cowboy dude I found one day in a random search. I sometimes use him for a wallpaper on Monday mornings. ps, might be down your way next summer to pick up a load of stuff finally, will ping you once a time frame is known. Might be fun to go see that track you have down there. I won't be bringing the bike but will have a camera along. See ya. Mike. Saw this in a Harley Magazine (The Enthusiast). There was a string going around in German. This seems to be in English. I hope it is readable.

The pocket bike pic is a 10 year old japanese girl. They have a racing series for the kids over there using pocket bikes. If you look closely you can see she is wearing high top tennis shoes as there are no racing boots available for her size 2 feet. |

Just imagine being her pit manager. This tall person asking a 10 year old "how does the bike feel?". Then having her reply "it's a little loose in the front end, I think the shocks need dialed in". WOW... I dream of having a daughter like that. |

Hals HD Dyno Drag. The Bikes get tied down. I don't think they were used to short Bikes like my S3T and my Nephew's GSXR600 And we're off My best time was 11.2 at 114MPH 89HP to my Nephew's 9.99 at 124MPH and 106HP Couldn't even hear him shifting at 14,000RPM to my 6800RPM shifts. It was good fun, and drew a LARGE crowd. I think I could have snuck in to the 10s if I had dropped the clutch at 5K, rather than 4K, and improved my reaction time. We ran in to a triplet of BWB regulars. I appologize for not remembering your handles. But it was a pleasure to meet you, and shoot the shtuff with ya. BTW, R1dynasquid. Where were ya? And why didn't you bring yer weazle tweezers <I hope I got that right > I really liked the GPS! I will be adding one to my bike in the not too distant future. Along with an ipod mount Buell Drag bike Another Buell VS Suzuki race. This time an S2 with some mods done to it. The Buell ran 2 runs, best of 2 was 11 flat with 92HP. The Suzuki didn't break into the 9s this time. Now usually, they get 3 runs, but there was a little casualty with the S2. WOOOPS!!! Dude, i think you're missing some teeth And it was the guys Dad's bike. So the third run, They let my Nephew do a 1/2 mile run. he dipped into the 16s at 154MPH! One of the more interesting bikes there, was a Honda Valkyrie Rune. More pics and info on this bike. http://tinyurl.com/6o3w3 Thing weighed in at 1080LBS with rider! But ran in the 11s IIRC. They also ran a Confedrate with a 124" S&S motor that dipped down in the 8s, and about 160HP at the rear wheel. But it was runing on race gas. All in all, it was a REALLY fun day!!! |

Was a fun time at Hal's, dynos were really cool to watch !! Yep, me, fiery, and coolice did get to meet Steve and his wife at Hal's, along with some others. Seems like a fun bunch !! BTW, R1dynasquid. Where were ya? And why didn't you bring yer weazle tweezers <I hope I got that right When I read that, I laughed so hard I really almost spit coke all over my computer !! Weasel Squeezers is an affectionate term used by Dyna and coolice for the biking shorts with gel pads they like to wear when riding !! Protects their butts on long rides I guess !! Good try Steve !! All the bike's weight plus all of Misato's weight on one wheel will make it flatter than if the weight is distributed over both wheels. Edit: Plus the fact that he's giving it a lot of torque with all the weight, just the way it is. I doubt it's low on air pressure. (Message edited by glitch on August 31, 2004) |
