OK, now that I'm a little less tired. The day went great! I'd guess we had about 150 or so people throughout the day. We had 9 states represented! Got a surprise visit from Glenn and Chas from Texas and Cali, they came for the sportbike day and decided to catch the Packer game! Shazam and Fuscat rode up from Kansas and Mo and surprised me! I couldn't believe it when they rode in. M2me came from MN as did Sean and Garreth from Edge Racing Bomber from IL Wyked came in from MI Sardawg,Penny and Bobbie came from Iowa Of course lots of Wi riders. The ages of the attendees ranged from 18(not counting little kids)to about 60. Lots of Buells!!! No Ducatis, other than that, about every brand was there. I had lots of local riders comment that nothing like this has ever been done here and how cool it was. I think they were shocked that it was a HD/Buell dealer doing it! The only "no show"in my line up was my Joe Rocket rep and he better have a really good excuse for not showing up or he can kiss my business GOODBYE Special thanks to, Penny, for putting up with me and helping me out Bobbie, for putting up with me and doing a great job pimping the voting for the bike show Bomber for being the parking police Sardawg for being the parking police Outrider for doing the bike show registration Geoff for helping me out all the time Computer Todd for doing the computer program for counting the votes and running the sound/PA system(he is a Godsend for me) Sean and Garreth from Edge racing Johnny from Hoban Brothers Racing Critter for bringing the Buell drag bike Ernie for helping me all day on his day off Flesh Chamber Tattoos for doing the tattoo contest Papa Johns for promoting the event and the pizza Northland Mall for having us Harry the maintenance guy from the mall HD/Buell of Appleton for putting up with me and my insanity! And last but not least, thanks to everyone that came to our event. It's the riders that come to an event that make or break it. After we got everything back to the shop about 15 of us went the Machine Shed for dinner. I think it was the first time they ever had 15 customers at once because the service totally sucked, will never go back there. So yes, all in all a very good day for sportbike riders in the Fox Valley. I hope everyone has a safe ride home and I know that Dyna has a bunch of pictures that will be up here later today when he gets home. Wait til you see my new shirt I got! Ride to the edge!
