Hello everyone Hope all is well. I have just joined I am from the Belton Missouri area. I bought a 00 X1 used and just can't stop riding it. In fact I have rode more miles in the past 3 months than the original owner had in four years. Go figure |

Hello to all. I joined the other day and I see that this forum is way better than the one on Yahoo. Quite a bit of information flying around this place. My Buell is a 2003 Firebolt XB9R that I picked up off of eBay. This Firebolt has the following mods (done by previous owner): House of Kolor Paint: Nova Orange Metallic / Tangerine Candy Coat Chrome Wheels / Chrome Rear Pulley Buell Race Kit Jet-Hot Sterling coated Header and Race Kit Muffler Heli-Bar Handle Bar Riser (1" taller, 1.5" back) Mirror Extensions, Buell Black Windscreen & Polished Belt Guard This is my first Buell and I'm very happy with it. I'll post a picture of it at a later date. Brian |

Hello everyone. I am about to become a new 1st time Bueller. I pick up my bike this week - a brand new 2005 Lightning XB12S in Black. I have had everything from Harleys to race replicas and have to say the Buell is a very unique machine. I really didn't want to give it back after the test ride but I'll have it in my garage (and on the road) soon enough. Anyway-really cool message board - I am sure I'll be checking back for info. Keep riding strong everyone! |

Hi,I have just recently bought a x1 red stripe, and stumbled over this interesting site. So just to let you all know I am from water logged England and haven't had a bike for 15 years, and wanted something different from the normal jap bike. Wot a hoot these buells are! I'll try and put a picture up. |

2001 blast: bought with 2440 mi. april of 2004. now has 4740 mi. Good transport. Not my first; however, it is my first AMERICAN MADE. Head weaped a little, pulled tank dropped engine. Raised valve cover and torqued head bolts. Thought an XB12R was more than I needed till I rode 2 up with my 11 year old. (must have) could speak volumes: Whats up EZ ? I'm not a comp. geek, but I am a two wheel"in son of a GUN. Soon as I figger this stuff out, Sandman wants to join. 089 Sandman said that and I'm back quiet. |

Hey fellow Bueller's, Just found this site, and I am hooked already!(wife's mad!) I keep downloading the exhaust files. What a blast(no pun intended) I ride an '03 XB9S, 7th bike I have owned, by far the best. I live in central N.C. Anyone out here? Try to ride every weekend up thru Uwharrie National Forest area, going towards High Point sometimes. Later, Jim |

Just take it for a demo ride a couple times before you decide. While you are at it, demo an XB also just for comparison and you might opt for a low Lightning instead. But be prepared for the XB's torque and powerful front brake. Mike. |

Hi, just came across this site and it seems I've come to the right place for guys who have the same interest as I do.Back in '93 I ran a project and ended up getting the rights to the ultimate frame around for a sportster engine.I contacted Spondon and they made the frame for me which I still sell. The reason I went to all the trouble was down to the fact that I felt the early buells were too long and too heavy. I'm now looking into producing a streetfighter style spondon sportster , maybe add a turbo (it's an alloy 7020 co-axial tubular frame) and a single-sided swinger. My bike runs a sputhe xr 1300 engine and weighs in at 160kgs.It's a lot of fun! I noticed kent Riche ended up with one of my frames and wrapped it nicely calling it Alien Twin.If anyone out there would like any more info or pics then send me a mail. Regards, NJ |
