Whilst this question looks real dumb at first, those of you with 2004 XB9 should take a look at your ECM. Since the dealers here got 1 or less to sell they have not seen them since they were pre sold and couldn't tell me what the story was. Mine actually has the white wire connected between the black and grey plugs and running into the harness somewhere. I'm pretty sure it must just run to some sort of "dummy" stepping motor to trick the ECM but I wonder if it is active or it may be there solely to stop water getting in. Since I don't have anyway of testing if it is active, just wondering if anyone else has noticed. Maybe one of you guys from a dealership has noticed this as well. |

On the 12's the terminal will have about 2.5V on it with the wire disconnected, ignition on and engine not running. Very interesting. |
