I ain't making 1,000 drain plugs. But Homecoming next year does sound good. Homecoming '99 was almost a religious experience, and I had a lot of fun at the 20th. Maybe I'd better start making plans. |

Just so it's not on Labor Day weekend, for pity's sake. And maybe a little earlier in the summer as race prep gets first billing late summer. |

How about shifting a bit west from the Nashville area to Arkansas? There is amazing riding in Arkansas. It seems to be a central destinations for some of our larger groups on this discussion board. There seems to be large continguents in TX, MO, KS, and in the Smokey mountain area. We could book all the rooms at the Iron Horse Stables (www.ironhorsestables.com) in Eureka Springs, Arkanasas. The rooms run about $36 a night (double queen) compared to most of Brags locations $100 a night. Camping is also available at the same sight. I am sure members of the KCMOB would be willing to help setup the event. Heather and I would be willing to overnight house any of the people that are interested in coming from the north (Chicago, Detriot, etc...). This would help cut the travel a bit. We have a couple guest bedrooms. Just thought I'd throw this great destination into the mix. Tell me what you guys think. |

Let' stay near the factory, it's great to take all the bikes "back home". Maybe several regional rallys that ride to East Troy for last day at the factory? |

Coolice, I must admit that I have never been in that part of the country. With that said, my question is; How good is the riding in that region? I am all for it, as long as we are not sitting around kicking the tires all day and we get in some great riding. Keith |

There's good & bad in trying to have another BadWeb gathering in East Troy. The good: Close to the factory Easily accesible from most parts of the country (3 major East-West interstates run through Chicago) Local club base with heavy participation (as a collective, not individually) The bad: Lacking in quality of great riding roads Hotel cost are high during the summer months Been there, done that (Homecomings & 20th Rally) I'd really vote for moving away from East Troy. Even though that means I may not be able to attend (depends on timing). One of my first insticts was either the Ozarks or northern Georgia. Let's save another East Troy rally for either a homecoming event or the 25th Anniversary rally. Just my $.02 |

Hopefully the Runnin of the Ridge will be a BadWeB Ralley of sorts. With the way things are in my world right now, getting out of the South East is near impossible. |

FJ....If it wasn't so far away..... Actually, I'd be up for a return trip to Cali. The last 2x have been wine tours. I wasn't sober long enough to ride a bike (he!!, I could barely walk) My problem with the last Napa trip was timing. I have a small window from mid-May to mid-July for an extended motorcycle trip. Before then, the weather sucks. After that is football season. I guess I'll just sit back and see what develops. |

I can't say much for the ride through Iowa, Missouri and Kansas, but once you hit Colorado, the rest of the trip to California is well worth it. I'm sure there's a decent way around the midwest states, but I didn't find it on my trip. I'd be all about another trip to Cali. We could probably even work something out to trailer a bunch of bikes out there, but I'd prefer to ride. Alex |

In as much as I would love to ride Arkansas, I dearly would like to go with FMJ's idea and ride Northern California. It is absolutely heaven on earth (or the moon depending on your choice of chemicals) and I would think that a Pic of everyone from around the country in Ferris & Denise's front yard would be a life time treasure for all. |

OK here's the Idea, I have been thinkin about this for a few days. In east Troy right by the factory is a nice hotel we all camp there, ALso that area is close to some nice roads which I am sure Nevco would be glad to hook us up with some routes, I will contact Court and factory officials an see about another tour de force, Dates will be in August otherwise I am screwed and can't go. Figure 3 days Fri - Sun/Mon Nuthin big, Factory, riding, maybe a dealer event or two, more riding and a farewell dinner... Heck maybe even get Erik to play. |

How about planning it around a race weekend at Blackhawk Farms where CCS runs the Buell classes? Its only hour and 1/2 from factory. Or a track day ON Road America for BUELLS only (sorry Dyna)and ride up to Daves store for a sportbike day?...... |
