Tom...Glad to hear you made it back safe and sound. Sorry to hear about the bike, but stuff happens when you least expect it. Sometimes. Good luck with the repairs and hope you get it back on the road soon. |

Right now I got no time and no money so my riding season ended about 4 months early this year and will almost certainly start late next year but one of these days I will finish the last leg of that trip on that motorcycle. Thank goodness I still have my bicycle so I can make it to club meetings. |

I've got to ask. Did you guys get up to Cape Spear? Did you see any icebergs? It turned out to be a good decision for Terri and I not to go, because yesterday we were back in the Emergency room. the drugs they gave her stopped the Migraine, but we were there for seven hours, and she won't be able to ride until tomorrow at the soonest. Although she's feeling O.K. now. Did everybody leave yesterday? I think that some of the group are heading here, but I'm not sure when they're arriving. Damn, I wish that we could have made the trip. Someday I want to ride to Cape Spear. It just wasn't meant to happen this year. |

Someday I want to ride to Cape Spear. It just wasn't meant to happen this year. sigh... Oh well. Thankfully it was only my engine seizing that prevented my trip. Next time you decide to head out that way Crusty let me know. ------------------------------------------------- If I ever ride bitch with Donut it will be because riding bitch only makes it easier to shiv him. . . . So how about next meeting? A little black spray paint and very few people would know the difference between the S2 and the my S3. |

Tom, I'm really sorry that you and Crusty & Terri didn't make it. I would definitely suggest that you do soon though. It looks like it is going to be an expensive trip but well worth it. I want to enormously thank Crusty for the t-shirts and Innes for the hats!!! That was well above and beyond the call of duty but much appreciated by all. (Tom, I's sorry about the bike but also glad the van & trailer were there when we got back to NY. I don't think we had too many more cycle miles left under ours belts.) |

I had a ball! I only did a small portion of what I wanted and am ready to come back. Drew said he's ready to come to school up there. I'm not sure if it was the drinking age or the girl to guy ratio that interests him. I haven't heard from any of the other guys yet. Bill dropped off in western NY being too tired to ride on. His speedo sender died on our last leg. |

One ironic thing about the trip was that both the Goldwing riders at work, who are always razzing me about my Buell, had problems with their bikes on a trip out West. One had his alternator go south and the other one's cam position sensor died. Justice is sweeeeet! |

Great pics, Bill. If you guys didn't do the Cabot Trail around Cape Breton then you really need to go back and do that. It's been so long I barely remember it. Hmmmmmmmmm....maybe I should.......nahhhh....the wife says the place looks too cold. Maybe I could bribe her with food! Clyde |

Roger- Great to see you made it home. We ended up going straight home since the rain slowed us down. Bill had to get a new tire in Moncton (at a Yamaha shop since the Harley shop blew him off). We'll have to come back up to do the Cabot Trail and Fundy coast. Really enjoyed meeting you and Dana. p.s. Look in the Tale section for pics. |
