Hey, guys! Just wanted to let you all know that I'm doing well. My recovery is going faster than expected. I don't have my ISP set up at home, yet, I've stopped by work to check on things. I'll be back online soon. Thanks to everyone who wished me well, it helped a lot to know that so many of you were thinking of me. I'm looking forward to getting another bike. I miss mine. Again, thanks for all the prayers. |

Lou it's good to see you back here. Glad to hear you're doing better. You plan on getting another Blast or are you looking at a 9 or 12? |

Clyde- Another name you need to put on the list is MrGrumpy. One hell of a neat Englishman/Frenchman. He is already talking about having a trip to France next year. |

Hey Alex, Great going! I saw this on Motorcycle Online and thought that you should send them your story, too! http://news.motorcycle.com/article.motml?sid=2735&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0 Everybody should know what you (and your BUELL) have accomplished! My wife actually digs that Blast. She says if it was hers she could then put Hello Kitty stickers all over it! (Please understand, she's Asian and she's hot!!) So who am I to tell her that looks bad??? |

Dan, I already stuck my foot in my mouth with regards to your lovely wife, but I can see her fascination with making that the Hello Kitty blast, as long as she puts a Bad Batz Maru sticker on the front windscreen |

Anybody seen the CityX model yet? I saw it at a local dealer today. Can't decide if I like it or not. I think I am leaning towards liking it. I'll stick with my Xb9r and S1 for now. Assi |

Doerman, Saw it and rode it! Neat bike but needs the 1200 motor. Very comfortable. Check out this thread... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show.cgi?tpc=32777&post=294607#POS T294607 |

FMJ - Give Modesto a call. Danny was at American Sport BikeN on Monday (brought a XB9CS) and the break is not yet official. And Mitchell's HD is just down the street from them. Which Bonneville event are you going to, BUB's or USFRA? Glenn |

Just to let everyone know that Drew & I made it back from Newfoundland. We rode/drove straight thru from New Hampshire, about 1,400mi. We had to leave Bill R. in western N.Y. He was too tired to keep going and since we are 8 hours further west we had to move on. This trip will go down as one of the best vacations ever! Thanks to Bill S.(Newfie) and his wife Colleen for the great hospitality. And thank you Buell for bringing us all together. After I get unpacked and reaquainted with the family I'll start copying my notes and pictures in the tale section. |

Well guys, for the past couple years I've been pulled over for several infractions and have been let off for all of them. I've learned to never admit guilt, not to give any actual figures, and to attempt to be polite instead of getting angry. Seems to work pretty well. It can be embarrasing to get your chewed by another adult, but oh well, I'll take it over a ticket any day! BTW, my bike usually always looks pretty ratty...it's got some scratches from quick, oh crap I need to get this fixed before work repairs (as well as a couple mishaps), and is seldom cleaned...it's also missing most road amenities...I like hand signals better anyway... Blake, I haven't been doing much else. I'm going for my competition license here soon and am looking into doing some drag racing for fun here locally. and you, sir? |

>>>>Still trying to decide what I want to do when I grow up. Don't knock yourself out. I'll leave the math to you and Aaron but I'm saying you're in the same boat I am . . . I keep an "EMERGENCY PLAN" in case I *DO* grow up. I'd rather hang and listen to Stevie Gadd than play office politics. But, hey.....that's just me. |
