Recently I had the misfortune of jamming an object in the convertible top of my 1995 Saab 900SE. As a result the upper left motor in the top assembly snapped its housing and of course no longer works. While Innes and Oz666 were here last week they managed to realign the twisted framework, however we could not get the motor re-assembled. Can anyone help me in locating a motor. The General Motors part number is 30560884 and I really don't want a new one due to the cost associated with it. One from a wrecked car will do so long as the motor spins. They usually fail due to the gear reduction box thats attached but my gearing is all OK its the electric motor thats snapped. Please e-mail me with information. Thanks, Bill |
