I am going to wait this one out and will probably meet ya'll at the Vortex later. If I wait much longer than 5:30 I will never make it to SMHD/BUELL in time. |

I live about 5 min from the dealership and it just stopped raining here. According to the doplar radar there is a line of storms approaching from the north. You'll probably get wet on the way down but it'll be dry for the ride home. If you ride downtown tonight you will be a BAD WEATHER BIKER!!!!! Michael and I are still leaving early and the only difference this week from any other week when we ride in the rain is that we are actually going to WEAR our rain gear tonight. |

Looks like Thursdays are rain days at the Vortex as well. LOL Lady Stunta is down with strep so I don't know if I'll be at the V. Have fun guys and perhaps I'll see some of you at British in the Blue Ridge. Its a vintage Brit bike rally, lots of cool iron to see. http://www.gabma.org/19thblueridge.htm (Message edited by TBS_Stunta on August 05, 2004) |

Good night tonight, lots of thing going on in head for now. A4TR, Shred, sorry to just run off like that, did you turn off? I slowed down after realizing that A4TR can only go 97mph. Did not see you in the rearview and kept looking. I dropped Sam off at SMHD/B and doubled back to see if everything was allright. No sirens so I assume everything is ok. |

Oh Lightning Dave, nice to meet you tonight. If I was alone you would have had a real run for your money. I am trying to get to the mountains this sunday and if you would like to join by all means do so. I will post tommorrow the place and time to meet. Anyone else feel free to join in the fun. I will probably have everyone meet at the BP at 317 and 85, I like to leave by 7:00 to 7:30 but if it needs to be a little later that is ok. post if you want to go. |

New12r: I'd like to, but I work weekends. I hope everything is OK with A4TR and Shred. I hope no one got any tickets or had any mechanical problems. A4TR/Shred: Sorry we took off on you guys but watching all those awesome wheelies Shred was pulling off got me fired up. It was nice meetin' ya'll. |

Ummm.... We're OK. After you guys did your little 'haul @ss' thing we got off at West Park Place, the last exit before the lights start. And you know I may not be able to 'keep up' but I pegged my bike last night trying. I know I was over 97. When I looked down at one point and it was totally pegged. So Torquer- FYI when you're selling a blast you can let them know you really can bury the needle in the right conditions with no modifications. Michael gave me $hit for going so fast but hey if the bike will do it why not??? You guys did. Just wait till I'm on a bike that will 'keep-up', we won't even be having these discussions. You guys will see where I go- and not from the view in your rear view mirror. |

Lightnindave: Thanks for making the trip back out to the dealer in the rain just to get wet and turn around to go back the way you came to again turn around and head back out to L'ville, Very cool. It is nice to see the bike that made me fall for the Buell riding with us... it is a real treat. I know everyone has responsabilities...but try to come and ride the ridge with us next month in Boone N.C. Gov: You too man. You came all the way from Cumming in nasty weather. You're a badweather biker for sure! Are you going to be able to run the ridge? Stealth: Thanks for helping me locate my gloves. (even if they were on my bike ) I hope your ride home went well. you probably have the longest ride of anyone and headed out the latest. New12R: You got a real trooper on you hands. It's cool that Samantha wants to be a part of all that's going on. I can see her ridding beside you at some point. That's awesome. A4TR: Thanks again for getting us slackin' wheelie poppers organized. I think we have the makin's of another memerible event on our hands. No rush, but I'll be looking forward to the revised outline for second drafting. B_S: Thanks for the tater tots! Shred: If you still want to, we ought pre-register for The Ridge today. And thanks for getting the Tex ready for everyone last night.... and for getting the GSB folks there as well. ( I think that was you ) Mini: That helmet is killer. I didn't see the Anime girls until just as you were taking off. Are you going to be able to run the ridge? Silverbullet: Sorry you couldn't make it. We'll keep you up to date on what is going on. Don't worry. I am looking forward to your finished project... The X1R! Biggin' : I hope the night went well for you father at the hospital. I hope to see you today to show off the City Cross. Gator: You missed a good meeting. I'm sure you would have brought a good bit to the table. We'll keep you posted as things progress. You better come ride the ridge with us. S2Pengy: Sorry you didn't make it. We missed you. We got a good bit taken care of. But, with all your experience and in-site, we look forward to your input. Vicki_nopost: C'mon! Come play with us! If I forgot you, no offense, it's early. Lori: We miss you. |

A4TR: I'm not your daddy (who's your daddy) and, I know you ride well. But, when you get a faster bike I know you'll be tempted to show us all how it's done... safety first. (yes I know I don''t always live by that!) |

Oh I know, TRUST me I ride MY OWN RIDE!!!! But I'll still talk as much $hit as the next guy. A4TR..yeah..you tell 'em like it is! Trust me I have NO problem doing just that. New12R: You got a real trooper on you hands After seeing how fast she'll let him go with her on the back, she isn't a 'Trooper' she's just as crazy as he is. If anyone gets a chance to watch Monster Garage on Sunday at 9:00, it will be a treat. It is a Monster Games episode where Jesse James makes machines and Prosthetics to compete agains people in Olympic races. We'll see what he has got in the prosthetics department. Here is a few pic of some Sprint/running prosthetics I just designed and finished today. Jesse ain't got nothin' me! Shred...still working on the Wheelie. Don't have the balls yet to really get on it. Workin' on though, just give me some time.

Hello all. I'm from Jersey and don't have a Buell, YET, but I'll be heading down to Atlanta in September and would like to try to stop by The Vortex on Thursday, September 9th. I did a search on an Atlanta website and found two Vortexes. Just wondering which one you visit. thanks and hopefully, I'll be able to make it. James |

Jvarga77....It would be the one in Little 5 Points. Last night we had 11 Buells there. XB9S/R, XB12S/R, and an S1. Even a new XB9X City Cross Probably the biggest group of the same bikes there! You'll have a great time. |

cool, I was probably going to head over to L5P anyways. what time do you guys meet and stay until usually? I ask cause one of our trust companies is sending us to a Braves vs. Phillies game and I'm not sure if I can get out of it or head over before or after the game. BTW, do you know of anywhere down there that rents Buells?? I've never heard of anything other that HD's being rented, but it can't hurt to ask. Thanks |

Jvarga77-There isn't anywhere that rents Buell's in Atlanta. It's rare you find anywhere that does. I found a place in NM and a place in NC this Summer when we were planning a trip but that was it. I think we usually all head out of there by about 10:30, after all it is a work night. Who's up for the Mountains this weekend??? Michael wanted me to ask who was up for riding Saturday and who was up for Sunday. He'll be going up both days. Joey & Ron, some of you know but they'll be going up Saturday. I'm going to ride Sunday. I'm sure Michael will be on here later so just give a shout if you're interested. Darn it I mean Shred, SHRED is going to the Mountains this weekend. |

Shred, After further consideration, I think it may be best if you try to coordinate our activities with Hooters. Since your closer I think it may be easier for you to take care of it. If you can't take care of it, let me know and I will make it happen. |
