Hello, I am getting ready for my first belt change and the directions say to install in the same "orientation" as the original. I can't see any indication on the belt that tells me which way the belt should be installed...does it matter? I have understood belts to be unidirectional unless otherwise written on the belt itself...after a while it gets settled in and it is not recommended to change the direction after that... |

I've heard that if you're standing beside the bike on the brake side, if you look at the words on the belt, they should be right side up. That's what I did 10,000 miles ago. |
