They do not hit the tank. The riding position is, well let’s just say radical compared to stock (I have Banke rearsets as well) The fit is good. I changed up the mounting a little for mine. It mounts in between the handle bar clamps. I put the top clamp in the mill and shaved off aprox the same thickness of the plate that the clipons mount to as to not change the position of the gage cluster. I have only got a couple hundred miles on the bike since I installed them but so far I like them. If you want I can snap some pics and post them |

Socoken. I saw from the box you shipped them in that you got those adjustable ones like Blake uses. I thought about those but I have put S1 WP forks on my bike and they do not make any to fit the bigger tubes. How do you like those. |

actually, i bought those bars from a guy who had bought the pro-fi's or whatever they are. he said he liked them better because they were adjustable, as far as the angles go. took a couple weeks to get used to, but i loved those clip ons. another drunken whiskey fight caused me to break a tooth and i had to pay to get it fixed somehow. i always say, the only reason to sell bike parts is to buy body parts....or more bike parts. jaco, if you ride aggressively in the corners, you should really consider a set. it changes your position, like dave said, radically. made me feel like i was much better prepared to take anything on, it just felt more like the biked looks, aggressive. however, passengers will protest the new lean, and it will take your wrists a few good rides to get used to. in the end, i cant imagine you regretting trying them, and if you do, gimme a month or two and i will buy them from you. Profi Teflix - like Blakes - their adjustability is the bomb, and they are good at taking falls. GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

Yes, the Telefix/Profis are outstanding adjustable clipons that will work on most conventional forks. There are pics of them somewhere... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/3842/7235.html#POST62988 The search thing actually works. |
