After my last trip I took I noticed that the top motor mount on my 2002 M2 is ripping. Is it save to drive or should I park it till I can get a new part? |

Do you mean the one bolted to the front of the head of the front cylinder? Yes you may ride it if you don't mind the motor falling out of the frame! |

No the rubber one bolted to the frame near the neck. The rubber looks like it is got a big crack on the top side. |

I'd park it and replace it ASAP. Easy fix, don't forget to use new bolt and washers, nut too if memory serves. Just follow the upper bolt part of SB-018. Watch the position of the flat side on one of the washers, it matters... Brad

Yeah, that's the part. I just don't want it to fall to the ground. |

I would suggest replacing it asap. further riding can put pressure on the bolt that mount ot the heads. |

That part can be swapped out in about an hour. No big deal. |

I bought the part and got it swapped out. Found out that it is the same part thatis used on may Harley bikes so that was cool (now I know the dealership will have them in stock for years to come). |

front isolator is a Dyna p/n (if memory serves) -- availability should be no problem at all, as they've sold one or two dynas in the past couple of years, yes? |
