John, you'll never make the cover of the Rolling Stone doing a wheelie on a Yamahammer. Have big fun and stay in touch here. I'll be interested to know if the FJR requires 2 hands to corner. |

Dave G. -- I read the Ducati press release that negotiations continue, and that Ducati has put a very firm offer and plan on the table. The point of the press release was apparently to salvage negotiations that had blown up in part because of untrue leaks about the nature of Ducati's offer, which was causing some Aprilia stakeholders (banks, perhaps?) to get cold feet. In other words, no deal quite yet, but one could come imminently. |

Hi everyone. There is a question in the body work section of the knowledge vault about front fenders for any one who would like to check it out. Thanks. |

Repicheep and MikeJ, my local Stealership has only the paper gaskets so I will be going through JP cycles when I return from my roadtrip. (maybe I can run into Alex along the way as I will be in Pennsylvania in two weeks) On another note, what's up with the archives? the AZ buellers archive in the storm fronts disappeared.... there were alot of good pics and alot of good times in those archives... Still, you really oughta try the Atkins thing. It's the no beer thing that is killing me. "I prefer exercise. Diets are for chicks." -Blake, May 10, 2003 - 01:36 am So when'd you jump on the low-carb bandwagon, Blake? 8) -Geof |

Geof, Moved your post above from the NRHS topic. Getting further off topic. As to the Atkins thing, actually its the wife who took up the South Beach regimen. I try to support her as best I can. Only had two pints of Kirin Lager last Monday at the local Sushi Bar, then two 12 oncers at the track Saturday. Haven't turned into a complete chick yet. |

Jerry, that's awesome, maybe we at Az Buellers should make him one and send it to him? Blake, I lost 30 lbs on Atkins, it's a no joke hit. I think this "fad" will be around a while... |

HA HA HA, Bartimus, Not disappeared, reorganized. I like that! Anyway, made it safely to PA. Watching fireflies and drinking mass quantities of beer, and Jagger. (no chick diet for me) I'll be chillin' here for a day or two and then moving on up north. I know I can't catch Alex, so I'm not going to try. I'll just be hitting the curves and visiting my family. Whoretimus P.S. Finally saw a copy of the FUELL mag, right on! (Message edited by bartimus on August 03, 2004) |

Well, I've made it across the continent. The Buell was great (not a single problem), I 've made a ton of true and lasting friends, seen some amazing things and it's all happened for a good cause. I'll have lots more to say when I arrive at home and have some time to collect my thoughts and think about this trip. Of all I've experienced, seeing the sign that said 'Welcome to St. John' was definitely an emotional part of the trip, realizing what I had just accomplished. Many many thanks to everyone who was a part of this trip, those who I rode with, provided a bed or meal, those who supported the American Cancer Society, those who helped out with well-wished, prayers and advice, and many many more. Without you, it wouldn't have been possible. We're off to downtown St. John for a bit of a party, afterall, how often does a kid get a chance to do this? Thanks again, everyone. Matt, see you soon, Brother. Alex |

I am sometimes asked why I still lurk/post on a Buell board. We haven't owned a Buell for 2 years. Because it's not about the motorcycles.......It's about the people. Two more names have been added to my "must meet" list. Alex, for the obvious reasons, and Newfie, for single handedly increasing St. Johns' tourist trade by 50%. Congrats Alex!!!!!....Just kidding Newfie........
