Not a damn thing happened with House on the Rock. I believe it's all going to be played by ear. But that's the way it seems to go most of the time. Anyone up for riding Sunday weather permitting and no where in particular? |

Seems like most of the rides are spur of the moment deals. very hard to get anyone to commit to anything lately. As far as a sunday ride to no place in particular, I know myself & the wife would be up for it...anyone else?? |

Dyna, I'm seriously considering the track day. I just ran the one on Wed and had a great time. Tom was a lot of help (thanks Tom!),and as soon as I started to listen to him regarding gear selection I started to improve. I finally started to figure out how to piece together a couple of turns during the last few sessions (thanks to Mike and Steve at MotoVid) and would love to run again knowing at the beginning of the day what I knew at the end of the day Wed. Paul James was also a big help. Paul followed me a couple times throughout the day for about a lap or so to watch me to let me know what to work on, and on one lap he passes me coming into 4 like I was standing still and gives me a thumbs up. (It's strange how all of these guys have a way of giving you confidence in your riding while at the same time handing you your on a platter - pretty cool.) It's just really neat the way faster guys seem so willing to help you out. No big heads, no attitudes, and they genuinly want to see you go faster. Thanks to all these guys, you helped me become a better rider in just an afternoon. |

Cj, It will be my first too so don't feel like you would be the only track novice out there. I don't expect to set any track records, just want to come away with some improved skills and confidence. Besides, I think it will be fun. |

Rocket you and everyone else are more than welcome to ride too. the only thing is we had /have no plans set yet as far as where to ride. I have some ideas, I think he might too, I'm still awaiting a return e-mail. I like riding with the gang. In fact on most days I'd rather be riding with the group. I ride on my own alot and it's just not as much fun. I'm not trying to leave anyone out in the cold, it's just I would like to figure out what I'm doing before I drag anyone into it. uh oh slight emergency gotta run I'll be back in a few... |

OK I'm back... I was cutting out some carbon fiber motorcycle key ring things for the club on the CNC router and heard some of them being sucked up dust collector had to stop it quick. I hope tuesday night is good for me too. I don't know if we are working late next week. If not I,m up for ridin. Dose anyone know of a map that would cover (western Kenosha/Racine, to Lake Geneva and as far north as East Troy areas) in great detail so I can start mapping rides. I know of a lot of great roads but don't know of any good ways to link them into a route. As soon as I know anything. Anything at all about Sunday other than I would like to spend it on two wheels I will let you guys know. if you guys have any ideas lets hear em. |

Ok Here is what I got, Griz and I and possibly Heather plan to meet at Ukes around 8:00 on Sunday. we plan to head out to nowhere to particular. East down K to NN to..... hmmmmmmmmm? That road over there. Then take this road through the twisties and hillies in Burlington. Then maybe the back way into Lake Geneva then some how bounce back to the burlington area to head north through some rustic roads leading us towards the East Troy area maybe bomb "THE HILL" behind Alpine Valley. We can show Rocket the Buell parking lot then maybe hit the twisties on the north side of east troy. I think the southern unit of kettle moraine is around here somewhere? well...(dramatic pause)...I think? From there we can get lost looking for more cool roads to add to the old mental map book. That's kinda whats rattling around in my head so far. there is no exact route set in stone. There might even be a little back tracking. Basicly just kick back and do some ridin. Anyone who wishes to come is more than welcome. Just post so we know to be expectin ya's. |

Besides, I think it will be fun. Yeah me too, I need to seriously consider it and make a decision !! Rocket, geez lighten up !! Lots of folks plan rides with their friends, but then post their plans inviting everyone along, especially if you post you wanna ride !! There is no secret location, we're always just joking about that !! I haven't been on the computer (imagine that LOL), but I can't ride on Sunday, well sort of !! I'm committed to being at the Milw Rally from 2:00 to 6:00 for Brew City Brag to trail for the demo rides !! CJ |

DON"T TELL ME TO LIGHTEN UP!! Just Kidding!!. But the silences is deafening. I will be there at 8:00am sharp. I know a few good rustic roads around Lake Geneva. I've been to the Buell parking lot, doesn't do much for me. But I'll go with the flow. Can't make it an alldayer, but will stick around as long as I can. |

Dont wait around for me. Im sleeping in tomorrow. Maybe get up around 10 or so & hit the roads about noon. Spent the day riding around Milwaukee, New Berlin, Brookfield, etc. Avoided the State Fair park area like the plague tho. Have fun riding where ever & hopefully a few folks will ride tuesday night. Maybe Cafe Lulus in Bayview for Two wheel tuesday? |

Well, I see there aren't too many responses, but I'll be at Ukes at 8:00am. Hopefully I'm not the only Buell there, which is the case most of the time. Peace and hair grease!!! |

Ok I know it's not exactly "buell" related, But I think it's pretty cool. Here is a pic of my R/C Ducati 999. I made the carbon frame this week on the CNC along with the key rings (more on that later).... |
