Admin Announcement BadWeB will be going offline for a few hours this evening beginning at around 8 PM EDT (about three hours from the time of this post). We are getting a brand new bigger faster server and a new/upgraded operating system. The site should be back online by 11PM or tomorrow morning at the latest. Thanks to all for making BadWeB such a great and interesting place for Buell enthusiasts online. Cheers, Blake |

It's Linux, I forget which distribution, I am thinking Red Hat. It's not doing anything special but running some off the shelf BBS software. Cantcha tell by the fact that it is always running when you come here? |

Me? I like the Knoppix flavor. Mandrake for the puter that needs an os installed. Even though Micro$oft is the bane of my existance. |

Fricken MS... Anyone else mess with Fedora Core 2? There are a few neat little tools included that make browsing MS's distributed file system a little easier. I'm trying to get Ximian Evolution to play nice with an Exchange 2003 server ATM. I need to check out Mandrake though... |

Ya'll should check out SUSE. With Novell backing it, I think it will evolve into a standard Linux solution. http://www.suse.com/us/ |
