WTF is the scoop with FBADs no show at the Loveshack? What about Blake and JimA4Media? Were they at the Loveshack? Were there any specimens left standing if they were? Or was it cats and dogs living in harmony ala Ghostbusters? Damn, I wish I had been there. Mrs. Forger has green lighted me for next year. I'll try and bring Terminator Stout with me to entice Ferris out of his shell. |

listen peeps, here's the deal: me 'n D had reserved seats in the paddock, in the shade, literally right on top of turn three, with closed-circuit TV (what, i ask, did this world do before stop-action replays?) and all the food and beverages we could consume, all as part of the deal. one of said beverages at our disposal was a "bottomless" tub of Mike's Hard Lemonade, immersed in ice. not to worry, said the barkeep, we've got plenty. i'm reasonably certain that we were the biggest consumers of MHL in all of Monterey County that weekened, and, well, after mass quantities of this stuff we felt pretty ambitious just shuffling over to the Buell tent. that's our excuse. lame? not from our vantage point. true? by and large. and we missed nary a second of racing action (from some of the best seats in the house), trust me on that, even spending some time in the pits taking glam shots for GQ. besides, we humped clear up to the Love Shack LAST year (sober, as it happens), and i got blisters on my dogs for the effort. (sniff, sniff.) i repeat: i know who we are. |

See my new Buell! Ha! Ha! Ha! Had you going didn't I? Blake and I got to meet Michael Barnes as well as his crew. It was really interesting to see how much of Barnes' Buell was stock. Just a lot more engine. We stopped by the Loveshack each evening, but missed most of you guys. There was simply too much to see and do. And, Erik is very approachable and easy to talk to. Keith |

Damn Gerald's turned soft. A little buzz and blisters and TV are all it takes to keep him from his friends? Shameful, just shameful. Ebear, Was sure good to meet you! Blake (no blisters) |

That is not the OCC Statute of Liberty bike. Looks like it I suppose due to the copper look but it's an FXR type frame with a Feuling W3 engine. http://www.motorcyclecruiser.com/roadtests/w3/ Frank |

Ebear, I did make it up to the Love Shack, and talked to many people there and took a couple of pictures. You were out riding or watching races when I came by I guess. I didn't see Blake at the Love Shack, but we did meet up at the BRAG tent and in the grandstands for the Craig Jones show, and Superstock races. For all the pictures I took, go to my websites at - http://caferacers.editthispage.com/pictures/ http://softmagic.weblogger.com/pictures/ - which is the American Sport Bike Night website. There are some new pictures of the of the new Buell XB9XS there as well. Jim

What exactly is an "electric shifter footpeg" and what does it do beside shift the transmission? |

It "senses" when you're gonna shift and cuts the ignition just enough to let you up shift without the clutch. Lightning fast up shifts. |

Dino, JimA4Media has already accused me of being Blake. If that is true, then I am Ferris Bueller. Wow, this is straight outta "The Fight Club". |

Sorry Forger, I'm Ferris in Training... tips of my boots now with scuffs from the road (AND THE BOOTS WERE ON THE PASSENGER PEGS!) so, methinks the real Ferris is within hearing distance. |

This picture just needs to be posted. This is Blake and Jim, speaking in a very civil manner at the Buell/Brag area at Laguna Seca. If you've followed their political discussions over on badweb, you'd think they would be arguing loudly. Why, they were talking so calmly we couldn't even hear them. And I don't think any punches were thrown at all! , not

SEE!!... I knew Someone had actual Pictures!...Heres a few from Barber Motorsports Park at the Superbike Races.... Front of the Museum One of many incredible and ALL running Delectables found in this Museum... And at least 9 Buells present during this Race.Mr Barber told us 27 of his favorite bikes were in Chicago I believe at some Bike Show. Note the XB in wall... View of the track was awesome from the Museum, the alligator strip at corner is totally ridden over during race... Buell Racer wave... Jake and Miguel congrats Great Interactive Art abounds... Mr. Barber owns more than 800 motorcycles and they are revolved through museum...Had a very well equipped Machine shop on bottom floor we got to tour.Had Wonderful volunteers working that really added to the experience.A MUST do if you ever get close to Birmingham....Absolutely impeccable grounds with shuttle wagons circuling ring road so you could travel for free anywhere around the place with a couple minute wait...Very Well thought out!!Deep forests and lush grass means no bleachers necessary. Most fences are only 4 feet high out of impact zones.Very classy yet still comfortable.Going next year for SURE!
