John, I'm terribly sorry that you two can't make it. Better to be ill at home though than on the road. If I bring Brad's t-shirt back, he's going to have to come down and pick it up himself. I will buy him a steak and show him the tape of the ride he missed. Speaking of tape, I decided to buy another battery for the camera. That was a good descision, the old battery died in about five minutes. |

Crusty....Man I'm sorry to hear of the Mrs. Migraines.I'm a big suffer of them.They get so bad that I have problems breathing,vomiting,and my blood pressure goe's through the roof.I've been to the ER for them also and have had morphine and you name.I'm presently taking a injection called Imatrex that in about 20 min after the injection the migraine is gone.The injection tough does infact make my Migraines worse for that 20 min though.After that I'm ok,like in almost 100% again.Give the Dr. a call about it and ask if this could be something of some help to the wife.I've been looking for the trigger of these for a couple years now and have changed some of my eating habits and have found that it could be my poor sleeping problem. |

BTW, I pick up my son at the airport at 8:00 tonight! Boy is Mom going to be suprised! Brad |

We're still on!!! All the fluids have been changed, tires warmed up and a gel pad inserted in the old seat. We plan on an early departure Tue., hop on the ferry at Sydney, 7/31 11:30pm and arrive on the island in the morning. I never heard from Alex or the other guys if they had the same ferry or not. |

I already cancelled Terri's and my reservations for the ferry. ... I just feel bad that I didn't get a T-shirt made for you. Are you fogetting the extra T-shirt you made for me? Or is that the one you were talking about when you said you had a spare? Right now about 20 miles is separating my starter from the rest of my bike. With luck it will all be together by tonight. $109 rebuild vs $290 replacement was a pretty easy choice. I gave myself 4 days to make the 2000 miles to the ferry and it's a couple days till that so I got a good amount of wiggle room. Worst case scenario is a 2 day marathon ride but I've already done one of those once so I know why I should hope to avoid it. It's fun though, I had never taken off a primary cover before and I am learning oh so many things about what a b*tch it is to unscrew bolts that are placed behind a primary chain. Or better yet fused into one lovely pieced of rusty lump. At least it's forcing me to do maintenance that is probably good to do before 5 kilomile trip. Rock rock on! |

And to those who unfortunately had to drop out for one reason or another, I'm truly sorry to be missing you, but we'll catch up another time. I'm tentatively planning a US trip for the autumn as I have a couple of orders for old vehicles to fill so we'll see what falls out. I had the bike out this afternoon, now with shifter upgrade (thanks again Daves) & G-Force racecan, my ears hurt the grin is so wide. Oh I love you ALL, hm hm hm hm mmm............ another happy pill please nurse ..mm hmmm;

OZ- When & what route are you taking? We are trailering to Ft.Ann & leaving the tow vehicle at McDermott's Cycle. I wanted to minimize the 4-lane & maximize the fun on this trip. We are leaving Tue. at about 4pm, spending the night with some friends in Chicago then running the rest of the way over on Wed. I'm guessing that we will take off on the bikes Thu. am from somewhere around Ft.Ann. Ping me with your number & I'll reciprocate if you want to try to get together along the way. |

Iamike: If Mr. Murfy doesn't do any better than average: it should go something like: Wed: Buffalo to Clayton - where I will decide if I will cross at the 1000 Islands bridge or head towards Maine. Thurs: NE Fri: NE Sat: NE - Stop when there is water in front of me, look for Buells at a ferry dock. Oz |

Low 20's is approximately low to mid 70's. In the teens is in the 60's which is seasonally average for here!!! Very comfortable riding weather!!!! Tripp, A box for Grumpy arrived about a week ago, I posted somthing here at that time. Its unopened at this point as it is not mine, I am a trusting soul hoping there is no bomb in it. |
