I had a Honda Trail 70. It was red. I felt like I was the coolest kid on the planet, I still do. |

Newfie_buell - A fellow Sundowner rider! You are the first person I have ever heard of that rode one of these, I was beginning to think I was the only one...a rare breed indeed. Eventually the spring in the pull starter broke so I had to resort to removing it and wrapping a rope around the fly-wheel. The final straw was the float broke in the carb....hard to find Sachs parts in this neck of the woods. Finally I upgraded to this:

Court, I dont see any brakes on this bike. Glitch I had on of these also, mine was purple..hmm a hint of purple HD's to come maybe? If you ever slid off the seat that 5 speed shifter would rack you pretty good

Rinnnnnnngggggggggg-ding-ding-ding-ding.... We had a saying at school, when we were young and foolish, "Can't handle life in the fast lane? Then buy a four-stroke..." Court - I lust after T120's, Commando's and S90's too... |

Bad decisions... never keeping *all* of my bikes! I lust after them all. Sigh... if I could do it all over again... My "bad decisions" didn't just revolve around selling all my bikes... I wish I still had my TR3 and MGB. Steve |

If you ever slid off the seat that 5 speed shifter... If you were in ANY gear but first you MIGHT have come out OK. I have as many good memories of that bicycle as I do of motorcycles. |

Snuff-R-Nots!!! Jeez, Bomber, I'd almost forgot about those things!! Tried 'em on the Triumph, but they'd fall out after a few miles--I guess those manly British exhaust pulses were too much for their puny little springs... rt yes, I'm afraid we're both older than dirt... |

My first bike was a CB360, This was taken shortly after getting it... and this is what it looked like a couple months later... Hooker Headers with Supertrapp baffles, K&N air filters, rejetted carbs, S&W shocks, air valved front forks, flat track handlebars, Dunlop Elites...I thought it was sooooo cool back then, but so did most of my friends, so I guess it was, for it's day. Great memories. Timbo |

1969 Honda S90. The perfect starter bike for a flat track wannabe. I'm the short one with the big grin.

Hey,Court. My younger brother is in the middle of a resto on a 305 Scrambler. He's a dyed in the wool old Honda nut.He has an SL-70,SL-90,SL-100,SL-125,several Trail 90's and Trail 70's,2 Steens Hodaka's,and I cannot keep up with the total, except I have 2 DT-175's of his and boxes of spares getting gone through at my barn. It's the damndest thing as people keep giving him bikes--- |
