I called and talked to someone at the Host Hotel from the HOG organization and they didn't say anything about $20 passes. But still it's for a 30 minute show and you guys are right we can just get Pete to do it for us free.
Besides you have to be a member of the National HOG Association and show your membership card to get a pass.
Hey give us details on how they threw you out. I have this great mental image- lol |

Pengy's right, even though they have a tough time admitting it, us BRAGgers have just as much right to be there as the chrome crew! Your BRAG card is fine, I spoke with the registration people last night.
Last night there was a kick off party at a bar named Country Rock. My Aunt and Uncle came down from Kentucky and I went up there after work to meet them and my cousin and his lady. I went in, showed my ID and was told that it was a private party blah, blah, blah. They told me to go outside and speak with the lady doing registration.
I am supposed to be going out of town for another damn wedding this weekend so I really did'nt feel like paying the $40 for the entire rally nor did I have $20 cash to spend on anything but beer. So I inquired about possibly getting a discount for being an officer...No dice.
So I called my cousin on the inside and he came out to meet me and check out the bikes. We talked for a while and my Aunt and Uncle came out to see me. They thought it was pretty stupid I could'nt get in so my crazy @ss Aunt decided they needed to sneak me in. She talked us pass the girls at the door and I thought we were home free. We dipped through the bar and halfway across the dance floor before our plan was foiled. We were being trailed by this huge HOG guy dressed like he was a night club bouncer or something. Keep dreaming fatty! Anyway, my cousin was behind me and was blocking for me, but could'nt hold the guy off forever.
He grabbed me on the shoulder and spun me around talking 5hit about this and that and that he had already told me once.
So I backed up a little and did a flying kung-fu kick to his throat knocking him out cold. When the police rushed in I did some of that Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon flying 5hit out the window to my stallion, cranked it up, burned out and did a wheelie through 3 gears as I got the hell outta there.
HAHA
Not really, I did'nt flex any American Muscle on the guy I went peacefully and stuck around outside as my family snuck me BBQ and Beer!
It would of been a different story if I was wearing my Streetfighter shirt.

This my friends is true.
Don't know if ya'll are in the mood to argue this point.
Either way I would suggest in the future, when attending (or trying to) a HOG event, taking names of anyone trying to bounce you. My guess is the bouncer is at least a ride capt. Then afterwards use his/her name to a letter to BRAG.
This is one big reason I don't want our BRAG group to become anything like HOG.
All our events will be open to all.
Including Ricers, Wannabes, Squids, ect.
There will be of course exceptions, but for an event such as this asking someone to own a certain bike is stupid. My .02

I thought about doin' at least a stoppie with Torqer last night, but I could see myself just F'in it up in front of everyone!

Stoppies, wheelies, burnouts oh my! I love to get a lot crazy! Lets all practice., they say the ultimate control over a bike is while doing a wheelie, and if you control a wheelie than you can to anything. I spent a lot of time on dirt flying through the air but stoppies are new to me. Still skared. Nice story by the way Stealth. well have some work to do on the ol bike, Glitch so far the pinging is now more like a loose bolt maybe, had Torqer take her for a ride and he said all good. anyway post for sunday, I am in but will be with passenger. |

WOW!
Ya'll missed some crazy 5hit!
Those damn guys are amazing. Words cannot express how impressed I was with the whole crew.
They put on a great show and beat the hell outta those Firebolts (red, white and blue 12Rs).
I loved watching all the HOG posers picking their jaws up off the ground and saying, "did you see that".
I got a few picks of the mods they do to make the bikes complete and total stunt machines. They are on my Uncles camera and I will post them as soon as they are forwarded on to me.
I'll be hitting the books this weekend so count me out for the rides, but I will be wishing I was with you sweeping up the rear. |

B_S, trying to come tomorrow, if so I will be at your place at 7:00. I promise not to be late this time, I may be riding with a passenger but I am not sure if she is up for the ride or not.
Glitch, I did a primary chain adjustment and the Pinging(sorry I should have put squeak, metal to metal type sound.) has seemed to go away. I now have much better throttle response to the wheel as well. It felt like new again. Thanks for your help and concern.
Hope to see you all tomorrow to attack the mountains, some of my rice rocket riding buddies will be up about 10:30 or so, maybe we will bump into them. They really only ride 129 up and down a bunch, that is why I dont go with them often. |

Slight change of plans....If you are going with me be at my house at 6:30. I am pulling out at 6:31. I know it is early but I have to be home around 12:30-1:00 fro a previous engagement. I am meeting Shred and Gator at 400N and Hwy 20 at the Racetrack gas station off the exit.
New 12R...hope you can make it. Any problems just e-mail or call me.
Everyone that is going just sound off so I can be waiting for ya. |

400 at Hwy 20. Cumming exit. Not sure about the number. I must be back no later than 1:00 in Norcross. That means that I will have to leave the mountains around 11:30-12:00. Hope you can make it. |

Hey for those that are interested check out Monster Garage tomorrow evening.
They filmed this while Michael and I were in Colorado Springs. We actually drove up the road they raced on the day after the race during a blinding snow storm.
Jesse James tried to 'rent' a friend's garage to work in while he was there but I guess he was such an @ss my friend told him to take his money and find somewhere else to turn his wrench.
