A4TR...looks like I am out for tonight. I just had to schedule a patient for late on Friday and I don't think I can make it in time. Take some good pics a video. I was really lookin' forward to it

I am not scared so much but would like to know whats going on inside. If there is a problem it is ok just want to get it handled. I have put 3,000 miles on in less than 2 months, most of my buddies have had their bikes since march and still have yet to get to 3,000 miles. Other than the odd things described above the bike runs great, still fun to ride. |

I've heard of several bikes (including mine) that came with the timing set too far advanced. That'll make it run lean and ping on acceleration (like a machanic/tech wouldn't know that  ). At the very least get it checked out just so I'll be able to sleep at night
Didn't stay too long at the Vortex last night. Had one of those nagging headaches that you just can't get rid of, and it was very hot and muggy which didn't help. Had a good time other than that. LOTS of Buells there. Looks like Buells are getting some good recognition! I like having a niche bike and one you don't see ALL the time, but at the same time it's cool for other motorcyclist, to look and say something about how they're considering buying one, rather than say something like, "they look cool but... |

Had a good time last night. Nice to meetcha' Billy C. and Cesar. Our group just keeps getting bigger. Sorry I won't make it for tonight but would like to do a early morning ride on Sunday. Those who are interested sound off. When and WHere should we meet? We can leave from my house like we did a few weeks ago if you want.
Shred...where will you be? TWO?

You should come with us tonight and let 'the guys' listen to your bike. It might be just what Glitch said.
Glitch-
I didn't know you had a headache, you saw all the ibuprofen Torqer brought. I would have been more than happy to share. I hope you're feeling better this Morning!!!
The plan for tonight is meet at 5:30 at Nash Chevrolet on 124 then head to Cycle Gear on 316 to meet the others and leave by 6.
If anyone wants to go and doesn't know where Cycle Gear is, Glitch posted directions in the last archived thread.
So far the count for tonight would be-

Gator
Myself
NewXB- Maybe
and a couple other friends of mine so maybe 3 more bikes, not Buells
Anyone else able to attend??
B_S I know Shred wants to ride all weekend but I don't think he is going to stay the night as he had hoped. It sounds like the most people are going to go up and ride on Sunday. Drop me an email and I'll give you his number if you don't already have it.

A4TR: We can always count on you for organization! Thanks. Sorry I wont be able to make it tonight. Ya'll have fun. Tomorrow have fun too. Then, on Sunday, have fun... I may be able to make an a.m. run to the Mtns. like I mentioned last night. No one hold their breath though.
Cesar and Bobby: I'm glad ya'll could make it out last night. Sorry I couldn't hang in there any longer. If either or both of you can make it to any of the "happenings" this weekend... do. You'll have fun. The stunt show tonight will cool. I wish I could make it.

I had taken all th asprin ibuprphen tylonol alieve ... ect my stomach could handle. Probably just stress.
Sorry but tonight and Saturday are out.
Sunday I plan on headin' up, but don't know a time frame, just gonna have to git while the gittins' good, when ever that will be.
I will however try to meet you guys tonight at NASH. Hey, a little ride is better than none.

Hey guys BAD news.
The Buell stunt riding is considered part of the HOG rally and it is closed to the public. You MUST be registered and have an orange arm band to get in.
Pre-registration was $35 I am going to call and find out how much it is Today but Cycle World said it is a private party and you MUST have an arm band to get in!!!! |

Sorry but I'm not into paying $40
and I don't think Michael is going to either, not for 30 minutes of stunt riding.

No stunt riding? Oh well I would still be up for a cruse but am stopping by smhd/bafter work. Post if you will be riding and where and I I can probably meet around 7:00, will be two up for sure. Anyway the bike is running fine and the pinging only seems to occur in the afternoon heat. Also, the mountains on sunday is cool but again I will have to go 2 up, worn tires will not permit the type of riding I would want to do without a passenger, and Samantha really wants to see the mountains. I am ok meeting at B_S's house too. Post some times and lets see what happens. |

I figured that might be the case.
I got kicked out of the launch party last night.
The HOG bastards give us stepchildren no respect!
Anyway, if we do in fact have to pay to see the show, there are single day passes available for $20.
A small price to pay to see our beloved Buells in action!
Anyway, I would love for ya'll to make it up, but if not, I will understand. |

So I get the feeling nobody is going to athens as of right now Where are they going to be in Athens. I planned to ether go to Athens or to the drag strip, so somebody give me a shout. The Buell Stunt Show is at Cycle World on Atlanta Highway in Athens. Just Hop on 78 head North til you can't no mo and bust a right. The shop will be down a few blocks on the right. You can't miss it. |
