Talked to Shred last night, he's going also. As much as it may make you guys feel one rung closer to the top Ann took my ladder away long time ago.

ME. ME. ME. Glitch...go to the American Sportbike Night link. They have good close up pics of the clear blue Surlin on the xbx. I would like some smoke color for my bike. I think it would look killer with the carbon accents....wait did I just say accents? All in good fun Torqer....see ya tonight |

Very nice pics. Maybe later on in the year they'll have different colors. If they're listening to all the people that want different colors anyway. |

Glitch...I have worked up a list of everything I can possibly think of that I use to do a lamination. I also called SPS and got a ballpark figure on what it would cost you to get started doing carbon laminations. I assumed that you are starting from scratch with materials. I will bring the paperwork with me tonight.

Glitch...Torqer. I don't know if you can tell from the pic but what do you think about these bars. Without looking at mine, I think the rise is about an 1 1/2" shorter. These are the bars my buddy gave me off his Ducati.

B_S: Go to Cycle Gear, and just pick out some you like. I have the black Super Bike grips. Shred has the Traction grips from Buell, he likes them, they're softer, and a bit bigger around, less vibration. Without anything to compare them to it's hard to tell how much shorter they are. I have the European Black ones. I see now all they come in is chrome. Click |

Damn mothers birthday, all of the Buells will be at the Vortex and I will be singing happy birthday. Oh well will meet some of the new folks on another day. Torquer, Strange things are goin on in my engine bay, I think I should set an appointment to have it looked at, the only thing I can think to check is maybe for a loose bolt? When rolling on the throttle I now hear as I am accelerating a pinging, I dont think it is detonation, maybe but this is a new motor for me, if it was a honda car or suv, I know every noise they make. The reason I dont think it is detonation is because it will only do it once or twice and then no more. I also only notice this when in second(loud), third(seems louder), and fourth(not as loud as second or third, maybe the wind noise quieting). I dunno. just dont want to have anything major go wrong. Also I am 99.9 percent sure the brake vibration and the oscillation are engine related, the oscillation has mysteriously gone away, but the brake shudder happens at the exact same rpm range every time. I will stop in and chat after work tomorrow. Anyway, I may miss out on the stunt show tomorrow, it all depends on the bike and if it goes in for service or not. Later, got to get ready. |
