Ha ha ha! Good one Murrae. I wonder if they have a liquor store in Springerville? I should probably get a bottle in Show Low... I just got off work. A grueling 12 hours, I'm beat. I'm gonna hit the shower and try to get a few hours nap... Otherwise I'll be falling asleep somewhere on the road. Xb9rski, I'm planning on leaving the MetroCenter area around 0930 - 1000 hrs. I can meet you somewhere along the 60, what exit are you closest too? I'll try to call you when I wake up... |

OK, by the posts above, Barts condition last night was evident... LOL! Didn't know this computer in the lobby kept my password. Seriously though. That ride was the best. I had a blast and hope to get away from the armpit again soon to ride with you all again. Ski, hope you had enough fun to last till you get back from Oki. Probably not, you'll end up with an old Kawi 1000 to tie you over. It's the cool bike to have over there. On-On back to Yuma! |

"harass the locals with our rude, loud bikes, drink too much beer, tell too many lies and have too much fun" Murrae couldn't have spoken more accurate words! ha ha ha what a great time everyone! I had a blast! Thanks for coming and making this ride a success. We should do it again before it cools down up there. thankfully, just as it started to get hot coming down off the mountain, I hit rain around Christopher Creek. It rained all the way down into Payson, and stopped by the time I hit Rye. Man, that suit didn't take much to dry out though in this dang heat! I thought I was going to have heat stroke by the time I got to the 101 loop! I'm glad to finally be home though. time to jump in the pool. I'll post my pics later tonight. he he he, Charlieboy, you need to talk to Kobe or Al, they were in the office late last night/early this morning drinking beer with one of the hotel gals in the cooler. (I was passed out due to too much Goldshlager around that time) although I DID think it was funny!

Too bad, so sad, Jerry! Wish you could have been here! gathering in Superior At a stop in the Salt river canyon, Kobe gazes at the S1 wishing he still had his Buell No ride would be complete without some rain. striking a pose in Springerville guess who showed up for dinner! the girls, Mabel seems a little bashful Al is ready to ride! Al can't wait! the girls pull in for a break a quick stop in Glenwood, NM. Looks like Al is picking up one of the locals. The fateful road, what does that sign say? Just what we wanted to see!!! there's Charlieboy! the memorial for Daryl, note the pieces of the bike still there on the guardrail support Old school buell, and new meet to pay their respects. what a Beulltiful view! a somber moment, after we pay our respects, to remember last year, and appreciate what we have today. a quick stop in Glenwood again, for some chow my bikes bigger than yours looks like more rain but we ain't scairt Yes, Hwy 191 was closed, but we rode some of the sweetest S-curves getting to this point Some guys were so happy they could dance... SHOULD WE PUSH THIS APRILLIA OVER THE EDGE? this one's for you, FERRIS! Let the party begin! As we circle around the S1W... Brian savors the flavor Marines don't mess around when it comes to drinking, Liz looks a little worried Murrae is thinking, I drove over 300 miles for this! Bart agrees, this is truly the end of a great riding day. everything starts to look fuzzy wow, talk about flashbacks to younger days... Hey, that AL is starting to look kinda cute! some folks just couldn't get enough the next morning... Al readys his bike for the ride home... I want to thank Everyone that showed up, and made this ride a success. I really had a great time. New friends, old friends, It was truly a great gathering of the bikes. Ferris, wish you could have made it! see you this Friday! Murrae, Glad you and Mabel made it, see you in two weeks! Thanks again everyone!!! Tripods forever! |

Bart...I started a thread of pics on the quick board. They almost look like they came out of the same camera! Oh yeah....who speedo is this I wonder?.... Hey Kobie, I hope you reset that badboy...I'd hate to see ya get pulled over and the cop finds the button that calls up your maximum velocity! |

That had to be one of the best weekends of riding I've ever had. It was great seeing old friends and making new ones. Everyone seemed to hit it off like old friends after a couple of hours and a few beers. Hats off to all the riders this weekend. Everyone rode well within their own limits and we were rewarded with a safe , incident free ride. I look forward to the next time we all can get together again and hit that amazing road. |

Loki, Are you moving AGAIN? Haven't you moved a few time now in the past couple of years? he he he Yea, we try to get some regular ride time in out here in the desert. Winters are the best as it's alot cooler. The summers really suck, but we try to make the best of it like this past weekend. We would welcome you out here in the Arizona deserts. |
