Remind me a little about the HSA pipe please. Me memory's not what it once was. Nice curves! Race ECM, airfilter? XB12 right? |

The race can had the more peak HP. Both pipes were run on the same bike, 2000 miles on it, race ecm and filter and stock tires. The HSA had a better midrange but fell off at the top. Dave |

its fairly similar to the D&D curve....and no I am mot trying to start a war. but the construction on the inside is basically the same as the D&D two, 2" pipes. that is why. now don't beat on ,me please |

You really need our laptop and programable race only ignition Dave if you want to run that pipe. Is Buell going to make that an option similar to the HD Race tuners kit?? By the way, that is not lean on the top end, very rich... |

OK now I remember. Dana, judging from where the dyno stops, leads me to believe it's on a 12. |

It's on a 12. Johnny, is that an offer? They are working on some mods to the pipe that we hope will help it out at the top and make it LOUDER like I want. Dave |

The motor is running lean as hell when the HSA is trying to be strong in the midrange and the motor is running rich up top detracting from the HSA top-end. Check out the fuel ratios, basically HD are saying don't ---- with the Buell bike, yet they sell programmable stuff for the HD's? I just don't get it, you can tune a Harley for performance but not a Buell? Anyone tried a MoTec ecm on a Buell yet, they are putting them on some Ducs in Oz with good results, full mapping ignition and fuel and any V-twin angle catered for (and laptop programmable). |

The double viper pipe that you have is for the XB9 I think Dave. Udo has only just done one for the 12, and does have other pipes that are more suitable for the 12 such as the 'Doublerohr'. On an XB9 fitted with a carbon airflow inlet and double viper, the peak power was 89.5bhp. |
