Lets start now, because I would assume everyone will want them. I say 2 weeks |

I say everyone will get their core shipments and dealership personnel will snatch up the first few pairs. Then we might get a few more and within 4 weeks they will be on backorder. Then they will probably get recalled. |

I'd say closer to 6 months!!! I wonder (doubt) if they have even touched this continent??? (Out-sourced off shore I would guess!) If any did land in a warehouse in the U.S. of A, I am sure the number in stock is NO WHERE near what the demand will be! AND... you will see them on Ebay going for much past MSRP! The conversation will be something like this... "I'd like to order a set for me and a set to sell for an outrageous price on Ebay Mr. parts guy! Shipping will only be an additional $20.00. Better make that 4 sets total! Do you have a photo so I can get the Ebay listing now?" Brian you may be too optimistic! I hope you are right and I am wrong!!!!! |

Bah! Im sticking with my CF frame sliders. If I tear those up bad enough, I may get the pucks.. |

Wonder where they are made? That may be the clue as to how they will be purchased and inventoried. |

Stick the pucks on the carbon fiber. I actually like the looks of the new pucks, although once I saw the ones from American Sport Bike in the flesh, now I know where HD/Buell got the idea. Same thing, different shape. |

Bigger, better protection and less than half the price too! Way to go Buell! Dave |

my guess would be not a great deal -- aftermarket folks live and die by filling demands that the factories can't/won't/ain't interested in . . . the sliders will be replaced by something else in the catalog, I'd bet, which will likely surpass the demand the sliders had gotta hand it to Buell, though -- they gopt a buncha stuff dead nuts right today |

I have to chime in, and say I am not a fan of the new stick on pucks. How about Buell using race crash proven frame mounts, and having real bobbins that bolt on, Like all other sportbikes. |

"Like all other sportbikes." Hengh?!? Why Simmons, Why? They look like they should work exceedingly well... They look like they should distribute the load to a point closer to the strong spot (the upper and lower corner) of the frame and if they are made of the proper material they should absorb a great deal of the impact which will reduce the chances of dented frames... |
