One of my braided oil lines touches the exhaust right at the back near the rear exhaust clamp. It has a little mount that attaches it to the other line but every time i push it up away from the exhaust it returns back down onto the pipe. Does any one else's do this and is it some thing i should be concerned with or not worry about it. Aussie Buell |

Aussie, I think you mean the little black clamp deal that connects two oil lines together? Mine does that too and I have not had any problems in about 6500 miles so far. I did wrap mine with Aluminum Foil and zip-ties just to make sure though... |

Mine did that too. You have to loosen the oil fitting then twist the oil line until the braided line flexes the right way (off the muffler) then retighten. Mike. |

Buy some muffler tape at Auto Zone. Wrap the tape around the chaffing line and the one right next to it. Saftey wire them together to hold the chaffing line up off of the exhaust. I've got 2000 miles on mine since repair and still going strong. |
