Yeah, it's mine. The frames were designed by Erik, and the frame is 100% original, Dana. Buyers could get an assembled version or a custom, built-to-specs version. Most were sold as bare frames. Greg, I had this on eBay once a year ago to get a handle on it's value. This is only the second time I've listed it. What can I say - money's tight. |

So only the frame is Buell related? Isnt that like taking a HD frame & putting in an all aftermarket drivetrain & then saying its a Harley? |

That's how it works in the bicycle world. Go to any bike dealer and see that the frame dictates the "brand" on all the high-end models. All the bolt-on parts come from other makers. ...and "Hi Court!" |

There were two models in dealers showrooms. Somewhere, and Lord help me if I can find it, I have a couple of the original "guru of motorcycle design" Paramount flyers from that year. I sopped in a bike shop in Shawnee, KS and picked up a couple, wish I'd gotten more. That, for the record, was the FIRST bicycle with suspension. I'm eager to see if anyone here can confirm that. Apparently, Mert Lawill (sp) did one shortly after. |
