Jap bikes are so good that nothing you do voids the warranty! |

Actually unlike some brands, the "jap" bikes need no mods to perform at their best. |

Man, those things are just wicked. There was one at Pilgrim Road during Homecoming a few years ago. |

I remember seeing my first one up at Laconia about 7 years ago. They looked pretty sweet just sitting out in the parking lot with all the other bikes. |

Dyna there was a company in the UK that put Hyabusa engines in road quads with street rims and tires. Can't see why someone couldn't do it here, I am sure on of the AZ buellers would help with the titling since they are legal in AZ, just not sure about NC. |

Arent the T-Rex's available with a Busa motor? They are certainly sweet...not sure they are worth $40K though. Beats the hell out of a Plymouth Prowler or a boring Viper though. |

A "boring Viper"? Dude, you be delirious; seek immediate medical care. |

I'm with Blake on this one. A Viper is my mid-life crisis car. Goal's to have one by 35. Only four whel vehicle I've ever lusted after. The Hayabusa-powered little car (or one of them, if there are multiple companies) was at the DIAS last year. Very boring looking, even if it did perform well. The T-Rex look much nicer, in my opinion, and given that they propbably weigh less, may very well be quicker as well. They use liter engines in the T-Rex's don't they? |

Blake, to me the Viper is just ho-hum. I would rather have something a little more exotic for the money. Give me a lotus elise or an early 70's Pantera for example. |

Well, you have fun spending all that money. A big portion of why the Viper appeals to me is because it's NOT Italian, British, or German. My Viper's perfectly attainable new ($80K), and according to Popular Mechanics is still the third fastest production car in the world, topped only by the new GT ($145K) and the Saleen ($465K). Diablo...Adam, if you drive up John Daly Rd. just north of Cherry Hill on a nice day, you might catch the guy that lives in that area out washing his. Black, as if there's any other color. Dunno what year it is, though, and his house is smaller than mine! Anyways...35 is a little early to be calling it a Mid-Life crisis. Maybe the real point of getting it by then is to avoid the crisis? edited by darthane on July 08, 2004 |

there was a Enzo here in Birmingham the other day, I wanted to just sit in the seat and say i sat in a $1,000,000.00 car... I almost S^*T myself. VERY VERY SWEET CAR, but way out of any price range i would ever pay for a car. And yes those cars are what i would love to have, but no way in god's green earth will it happen, the more attaneable cars are the 1977 Trans Am, or 1971 HEMI CUDA!!! YEAH! |

The big question is, since they are basically like most motorcycles but with 3 wheels, would you need to wear a helmet (in states that require helmets on motorcycles, that is) or would it be like a car? |

I'd think if it's classified as a motorcycle, you'd need to wear a helmet. IMHO |
