Thought that was what the hose was for. What ya doing...saving it? LOL Actually knew a couple of guys that ran the real Iron Butt and they just ran the hose down to their boot and simply pointed their leg to the rear. Like you indicated, that may be how Dyna got his "Golden Shower." LMAO |

I wonder what the chances would be to trade off a 'tuber Buell for a car or pickup in decent shape that is either newer than 4 years old or older than 40 years old. Just some mid-morning musings.

Dunno, but if you find someone that will trade for an Ark, let me know. This rain is getting to me. In fact, right now, I would trade the X1 to a mover that will pack and haul my household back to So Cal. |

Blastin, Congrats man. It's a great feeling isn't it. Our little on is just three and a half weeks old and I'm still walking on air. (Of course it could be one of the few positive effects of sleep deprivation!) Many blessings and remember to do something nice for the missus, she deserves it. JT |

Anybody here have any experience with Road, Track & Trail in Big Bend??? I'm looking for an inexpensive beginner bike for Lisa. They have a ton of bikes (all styles) under $2K. |

Lake... No first hand experience with RT&T, but they do have a large inventory of cruiser type bikes. I like All Pro Motorsports which is about 4 miles north of RT&T on Hwy 164 for both sales and service. They were highly recommended by HOG members that were fed up with the local dealers. Actually, if I were you, I would have Dave find a Sportster for your wife. Many benefits to that not to mention you already have a working knowledge of the mechanicals. Both the Vulcan and Intruder are good bikes. The Vulcan may be better for a beginner. A friend bought one for his bride and she liked it. I owned an Intruder 1400 and put over 45.0 carefree miles on it. However, both were in CA. In WI, I would stick with the Home Team if you get my drift. edited by Outrider on July 08, 2004 |
