First Off, ALL BUELLERS,Friends of Buellers,Race fanatics,Motorheads,Race Teams,and basically any warm blooded motorcycle loving mammals are invited,no EXPECTED! to come visit us at the INFamous LOVE SHACK on the CORKSCREW.As in past years Jerry Johnson has put forth his plush Fifth Wheel for our comfort and entertainment!Located Overlooking the most famous corner in Motorsports history,the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca.Utilizing the Garage Ramp as our own Skybox extending out over the hillside,With a view unmatched at this track.In past years even Speed Channel has zoomed in on our setup and commented on our lofty perch.For those first visitors to Seca,Finding us isnt difficult.From the lot that they make you Park your bike at,look up the hill to your right and locate the Race Tower.Walk up the path that winds its way past tower towards the bridge over the track(Rainey Corner)cross over the bridge and look up.You CANT miss us!For those of you Camping with us(we have plenty of camping sites on the front porch of the Corkscrew)Do same as past....Come up and find Jerry or I and borrow camping pass,Ride or walk to Gate on road and they will give you Armband for Total Access(dont forget to bring your track tickets for entire weekend also!) Our Camp Site numbers are 563,564 and 565.See ya'all there! |

Theoretical Itinerary *WED.3:00pm.....Load up Ebear in OC and head for Seca WED.11.00pm.....Shopping in Salinas for fodder and liquid refreshments. *THURS.7:00am.....Relocate from 68 Gate to Reserved Sites.LS setup.Veranda setup.Dinner at Shack. *Fri.8:00am.....Suit up for Ride laid out through the Santa Cruz Mountain Area.Warm inland start,Hecker Pass crossover,Hwy 9 up,Big Basin,Lunch at Alices Restaurant and down to Coast Hwy via Alpine road.Couple of options for return depending on time.There are NO races this year on Friday so we have all day to play!! FRI.4:30pm......Relax,watch Qualifying attempts and investigate dinner possibilities.Tarpys is close but Monterey has many excellent eateries. *Sat.8:30am.....Practice begins, and for Me there is no better way to wake up! We usually take a run over the Grade to blast down Carmel Valley Cowpath,usually a highly memorable experience for the uninitiated with several different climate changes and a few cattle guards on the corners just to make sure your paying attention. Sat.12:00.noon.Stunt show on front straightaway you shouldnt miss! Sat.12.50pm..AMA Superstock Race Sat.4:10pm..Formula Extreme Race..Dont miss!Buells racing..Hal's Ciccoto and Kosco's Barnes racing bikes so cheer these Guys on and visit them in the Paddocks!! Sat.6:15pm..Stunt show in case you missed the other one. Sat.6:30pm..Head out for the Cannery Row.Blocked off streets and a million Bikes parked makes for a great time but long dinner waits.We did Bubba Gumps last year.Their Front yard is the "Premium" bike hangout.Restaraunt is on the water. *Sun.11:10am..Parade Lap,Always a hoot!Have your picture taken on the Corscrew by someone at the Love Shack! Sun.12:00..World Superbike Race#1 Sun.2:00pm AMA Superbike Race Sun.3:30pm..World Superbike Race #2 Sun.4:30pm..AMA Supersports Race Sun.5:00pm..Pack up and head home! Well thats the info... EBear: Denise and i launch from the 'Dome at 4:30 Fri a.m., and plan on being trackside by 2 or 3 or so. the ride on Sat morning sounds good, count us in. i'll have my cell with me. FB&D |

Track Map of Laguna..... The entrance that says Barloy road is the first left into the track from the back way.Scramp prefers people to use this way on track days since it is WAY less crowded.This is the actual entrance to our Corkscrew campsite and is where you get your Armband.The 68 entrance is the front way.Track road is convuluted but ok once your in.Camping with your bike is Fox Hill and is between turns 6 and 7 on top of the hill.Way cool view and all should hike up here to visit Norcal'ers. |
