I will work on a host hotel for all of the out of town people. What do you want in the hotel? Just cheap? Resturant? Pool? Busy area or out a ways? I have no idea about the hotels up here but will ask around and find one that will work. How many people are going to need rooms? This info will help me get a "deal" on them for you. So far I have, Gearhead and hopefully BoomerM2 will come along too. Any other Waterloo riders? BluzM2 M2me Wycked Dale? xblue9r(do you need a room?) 420(note to self, get Doritios for him) Socoken? Midknyte(are you going to stay or ride back to Chi?) Dave |

Will be there if able. And would be interested in hotel plans - top of the wish list there is just a safe parking spot. |

I'll try to make it too but it's my son's birthday. If I can adjust his celebration to another day I'll probably be able to make it. ps. What do you need from me to get me signed up for that track day on Aug 23d? |

Ok, probably catch you some time next week on that. With all the festivities it would make a very nice 3 day weekend. |

Dave, Cheap and "safe" is all I need. Maybe a place to hang with fellow Buellers when we come home to roost for the evening. Brad |

Email is better than faxing. Dorito's tend to lose their shape going through the rollers. |

Dave....back from vacation and I'm just browsing quickly. Bad news for me...pre-season game that night. I'll be at work all day. Oh yeah...I should be stopping down some time this week to get the rest of my fork parts. Probably Thursday or Friday after work. |

Who wants to camp? I found a place called Hickory Oaks in Oshkosh. It looks like it's only about 20 miles from the dealership. |

OK, had my meeting with the Papa John's people and they are all for this event, the mall is on board too. They are even going to pimp it on the big sign in front of the mall for me! Papa John's is going to furnish the pizza and put a flyer on every pizza they deliver or send out the door for 2 weeks before the event. Get this, from 11 locations in the Fox Valley, Green Bay, Manatowoc and Sheboygan! They want 20,000 flyers. So if the old rule holds true, 3% return on flyers, that's 600 people! I'm waiting on a call back from the "flesh Chamber" tattoo shop to see if the will run the tattoo contest for the event. The mall is nixing the burn out contest. I'm need some people to run the bike show. I am going to be busy, busy, busy setting all this up. Dave |

Dave Sounds like a damn good time. count me in for sure. dont know nothing bout running no bike shows, but would be willing to lend a hand if you need one. Ken given any thought to national publicity? maybe drop a line to some magazines or speed channel's two wheeled tuesday. if they bite, and you have as good of a turnout as i hope you will, might be worthwhile edited by socoken on June 29, 2004 |

Since this will be my first event up here I want to start with a manageable number. If it goes over well, then we will make plans to make it bigger and better. I'll put you on the list of helpers though, thanks! Dave |

Dave...Put me on the list tentatively. Will confirm by the end of July. I enjoyed working Suburban's BattleTrax with you and Doug last year and am looking forward to watching you do some more of your "Buell Magic." |

Daves -- what I know about running a show is nothin, but I can glower at children, wave a traffic control baton, deploy my Sgt Parade Ground Voice (stopped by daughter in her tracks more than once, caused her dates to mess themselves on a number of occasions), and generally get in the way . . . . I can also eat a damn good pizza (even if "Pappa John appears to be decades younger n me!) |

OK then, Socoken,Outrider and Bomber are in charge of the bike show. You guys rock! Thanks! It'll be real easy, sign people up for the Buell class or the other brand sportbike class(I need help coming up with a name for it other than "other brand" ) Show them where to line their bikes up. It will be peoples choice so at a given time, count the ballots(no hanging shads allowed) and give me a list of winners to announce. Should be a piece of cake for you guys. Ride to the edge!
