Hey Dana, I ran the first couple of sportbike nights just to get some time on the bike. I re-set the odometer the first time I took it out...I now have 72 miles of drag strip runs! (well, 36 miles of runs, 36 miles of return road). The bike is acting a little funny lately and isn't pulling the top end (its only doing 120, was running 123 pretty consistently). not sure if its the bad air or I'm off a little on my tune up, but i figured I better minimize time on it until I have some time to mess with the bike. I only have a 10 point lead in the Harley series right now and 4 weeks straight of drag events coming up, so I'm going to try and minimize the mileage. Sportbike night is pretty cool and I'd recommend it! I enjoyed running the Buell just because it was the only one there and its faster than a lot of the 600's.....nothing like demoralizing a punk squid in front of his buddies! CJ, Bayview is about 5-7 miles south of downtown right off of 94. Take the becher street exit, head east to kinickkinick, go south on KK and its about 2 lights up on the right. Its the new 2 wheel tuesday since they shut down the one that used to be on Brady. pretty nice place...a friend of mine owns it. pretty close to Franklin! | ||

Bads, I'd love to hit the grove but u know my current situation. Put my new bars on tonight actually ended up with "Renthal Mini CR bars" there almost the same bend as the stock XB but 1.5" wider and .5" lower they feel and look great. their grey anodized aluminum with a black bolt on crossbar. Tried to secure the drummer tonight. It's holding steady at 400. was wondering if I could swing by tuesday night or wednesday night to pick up the tire. I'm dropping the bike off at Ukes wednesday night for them to work on it thursday. did some more investigating into the crimped oil line and it looks like the oil cooler was actually smashed in, possibly even relocated. cant quite figure out how though, cause that side of the bike was facing up. Anyway I'll see ya Tuesday. | ||

Dana, Would be happy to help out on the suspension, but its looking like I'll be stuck at work tonight to at least 7pm. I'm house sitting in Bayview this week as well, So i don't think I'm going to make it down in time for the meeting. Maybe we will see you guys at 2wheeltuesday at lulu's though if you decide to ride up. Can't remember the name of the road (38?) but its a real nice ride up the shore to milwaukee on what turns into shoreline drive. Dumps you out at Lulu's as well... I'll be at the strip tomorrow (with tools) if your out there. Sorry i can't make the meeting....was looking forward to it. | ||

Yep, hwy-32. Lulu's is on the west side of the intersection of KK/hwy-32 and almost Lincoln. Almost Lincoln since there is another street that Y's into 32 and Lulu's is almost on the little Y-stub of the intersection. Real easy to miss. And parking can be tight if you get there too early and if cars have the two parking meter slots in front. It is kind-of the second building from the corner of Lincoln and the diagonal stub-street. If you get lost the Third Ward and Water street are north a few miles if you keep sort of following 32, and the area east of the place is nice to get lost and wander around in. Plus the new Ferry docking station is over there in that get-lost area. Me, I never get lost, I just wander around sometimes aimlessly seeing the sights until I get someplace. | ||

Anyone headed to Lulu's tonight? Sure it may not be a huge meeting spot right now, but you have to start somewhere & unfortunately its always at the bottom. Be there around 7:ish, seems like the bigger crowd doesnt roll in till 8:30-9. I take Howell in & tend to just meander around for awhile. | ||

Lulu's is a out for Naughty and I tonight.After the meeting were planning to head over and grab a burger from "The Spot".Tomorrow night will be at the Grove to check out Wes run and also a friend of mine running his car.Thursday we are going just out to McDonalds to check out the cars that cruise in and also I maybe getting reunited sorta speak with a car that I sold 18 yrs ago and haven't seen since and its possible that it could be bought back.I'm really excited about seeing it again. | ||
