CB, we'll be leaving the Dome about 0430 Fri 7/23, heading east on 178 thru Ridgecrest and Trona (gas stop in Trona) and north up the Panamint Valley to the intersection of 190, then east and south a bit thru DV on 190 (gas stop at Stovepipe Wells), then back onto 178 south just past Furnace Creek to take in Badwater and on to the junction of 178/127, south on 127 to Shoshone (gas stop), south on 127 to Tecopa, then east at Tecopa on Old Spanish Trails to 160 in Nevada, then south on 160 to I-15 in Las Vegas. barring any FUBAR's this should put us in LV around noon. we'll troll the Strip on our way to LV H-D/Buell, and will try to be back on the road, eastbound on I-15 towards Zion, by 1330 or so. you're still welcome to hang here at the Dome Thursday night if it'll work into your plans, and this offer is extended to anyone else who might be interested as well. ride to lean, FB |

i'm thinking about going to jerome on sunday. if anybody is interested?one of my clients told there is a good place to eat up there.for me i won't be able to head up there till around 12:30 let me know if either of you are interested? m1,jerome wouldn't be to far from you. xb9s,jerome would be a bigger trip for you,but think about it. unless you guys want to meet in the middle somewhere? let me know what you guys want to do? it would be great to ride with you guys. later, jim |

If you wanna meet in Jerome somewhere we can get a byte to eat and then head SW through Prescott Valley and Prescott to Wickenberg. At that point I could turn around and head back to Prescott and you could head S to Phoenix... If you haven't been on the roads between Jerome and Wilhoit you just plain need to do it . |

I don't have a phone... I have no idea where to meet either but it's a very small place. I think there's a viewing area at the top of the town. The outside of a left hand hairpin as you go out of town towards Prescott. Maybe there? What time? |

M1 & Jwz7, I would like to go on Sunday but it does not look good right now. I'm going to keep next Sat & Sun as open as possible for a ride. Jwz7 call Serina at hacienda and get on her list for the Brag group. She's trying to put it together. We had four bikes out last month just to meet & talk. All we can do is keep trying until it comes together. |

2:00 it is... I don't know how long it takes to get there from here either but I'll leave here about 12:30 as well. Is your route going to bring you in from the bottom of the mountain or the top? Billc (and all) - I'd like to go next week but I'll be riding from here to Showlow Friday afternoon and I'll be there all weekend. Also, I'll be riding over to Monteray Cali the week after we run the torque fest route to watch the bikes at Laguna Seca. Anyone wanna go with? I might be riding back with FB (Jerry Haughton). The Laguna trip isn't QUITE set in stone yet but I think I'm going to go. I may end up just taking a week off instead and watch the bikes on Sunday and then ride up to Oregon to visit with my Grandfather. I haven't decided yet. In either case, that's a good deal of riding in one month... Well, maybe not for Art... |

M1, by all means, you should take the road to Oregon if at all possible. Northern Cali has some great roads, especially along the coast. Stopping through FerrisVille is always a must do also. Jerry and Denisea are great hosts, and the roads around there are Beulltiful! I hope to see you on the ride the 17th, 18th, and 19th! And the following weekend is the beginning of Alex' Ride across America for the American Cancer Society. I will be meeting him and Ferris in 'Vegas on Friday the 23rd. Anyone that can make it, it invited to attend.

Jwz7 - I'm still up for meeting in Jerome and having a burger. I've been holding out on breakfast just for it . I was thinking I would probably just head to Jerome about 1 (It's 32 miles from here). and if I get there pretty early I was just going to head towards cottonwood looking for you and turn around when I see you. If it's pretty close to 2:30 I'll meet you at the burger joint (you say it's the only one on stilts?). Art (Bartlett) - Do you prefer Art or Bart? I always see people referring to you as Bart but your profile says Art... |
