managed to get up to the biker rally this past weekend, sorry no pics(forgot camera duh), anyway there were a few buellers present, i saw four cyclones(besides mine) 1 red 3 orange one of which was modded with some nice pieces, 1 black s1 who must have been a bad mutha cause his bike was filthy just like mine, 1 purple thunderbolt, 3 firebolts 1 red 1 white 1 blue, the red one flew by where i was stayin on winnona rd in ashland a few times(lots of curves on winnona rd), and 1 black xbs he was hanging around with the modded m2. i wanted to take off after the red fire bolt a couple of times but i had tranny issues (thank God i brought my tools), i was in such a rush before i left home adjusting my clutch that i pinched that quad ring at the clutch inspection cover so the first day i was there i discovered i lost at least have of my primary oil so i filled up with car tranny fluid to get me back to the hacienda and had to pull the exhaust to drain the fluid to put the good stuff back in, when i did that i leaned my bike up against a rubber trash can which must have had sand on it cause it scratched the out of my tank and my cf air filter cover DAMB! meredith harley was right down the street so i took the wifes kawi vulcan and got the parts $7 the cheapest fix yet for my lucy! labor intensive tho, what a pain in the it is to get those bolts started on the back of the v&h ss2r exhaust! speaking of the exhaust the damn baffle is floating around in that bad boy making the motor pop and sputter i think it's time for a new one the black parts rusting. anyway new hampshire sure is pertty! lots of smooth twisty roads! the rally itself was packed far too many people! unfortunately i didn't make it to loudan so i'm leaving a day early next year to fit that in! the weather was good it rain just a little on saturday morning not bad. at one point i was riding with a bunch of the guys i was staying with(they all had harleys) and i was bringing up the rear and after all the harley guys all road by a group of girls one of the girls saw my buell and exposed herself to me woohoo! she must have been waiting for that guy on a unique bike to show her goods, hehe!! not a lot of that going on too, cause they arrest for that stuff up there, i guess she couldn't help herself!! well, that's my story and i'm sticking to it!! happy buelling brethren!!! tripp |

Tripp, I grew up around the Louden area, and still have family living there. Next year I will be there for the races, and the festivities. My home is in Penacook, just north of Concord. I'll be up in the area for about 4 weeks, and will have a couple of buds with me from Pennsylvania. You are more than welcome to stay with us, we have a VERY large farm house, with 6 bedrooms. With all us kids grown up and gone, Mom likes it when we come and visit and bring friends. I typically come home every 5 years now that I'm getting on in years. I used to come up every year, that just got to be too much on a Buell, even the S2 gives me pains in the butt after a couple of hundred miles now. And the Harley, while it's great on the long haul, just doesn't cut it when I get home and want to hit the curves. You need to ride up the "old" highway through Franconia notch, and past where the "old man" used to be. I still haven't seen it since he fell, but I can still remember it well. Great roads, lots of twisties, and beautiful views. |

My wife and I were up on Friday. We went to the Track and demo'd XBs. First we took out XB12S Lightnings which I enjoyed; but Terri felt a little intimidated by the power. So then we went out on XB9s; I rode a Firebolt while she rode a Lightning. She was more comfortable with that. After that, we went up to Meredith and saw Dave King, and bought a shifter lever for the Blast. (Terri's fell off on the way up) After we put that on, we went over to Rochester and watched the Half mile races. Then we rode home. All in all, we had a Very Good Day. |

tonya and i just didn't have any plan of attack for the weekend, i really wish i could've made it to the demo rides, intimidating power sounds right up my alley! we already plan on making it to the demo site next year although tonya's more interested in riding a big hog, she's a cruiser girl, maybe someday she'll sportbike with me.... it's great to have her along though, two wheels is two wheels!!! |

I was up there for the last 2 days of it. I only saw maybe 3 xbs other than mine. Most of what i saw were tube frames. Saw a couple but not a whole lot. We on spent sat night actualy at the rally (little to crowded) Sunday we went for a ride threw the mountains, talk about some nice scenery. |
