I just put the front Z6 on my XB, at 6100 miles the dunlop was looking real thin. The bike handles real nice now. much smoother rolling into and out of the lean, very predictable, just better. the rear Z6 has 3500 miles on, and looks almost half worn. i have another rear on order. very nice tires, i highly recommend them. | ||

I just put a front on my bike, and admittedly it was quite surprising how much more the bike falls into turns at all speeds. I also noticed that the tendency to stand up under braking in a corner it noticably reduced. Anyone else noticed that in accordance with that german tire review posted awhile back? | ||

Certainly. I recommend using the rear brake for leaned application of brake though... | ||

Ditto on the Cyclone, going from a Dunlop D220. The Z6 rolls much more smoothly and progressively into turns. Seems to be wearing better as well. | ||

I noticed that too. I have both front and rear M1's right now. My bike no longer wants to stand up in corners and the rear tire feel glued to the road. | ||

I have the Z-6's also. I just like the feel of the Metzlers better, always did, and don't know why I kept putting stock Dunlops on my old M2, just programmed, I guess, and the price was always less. | ||

Don't know how you got 6000 miles from the 207's... Mine were toast at 2K miles - no track days however on some of the roads around here sure felt like it!  Pirelli's now and same feelings noted above - no more stand up underbraking and unparalleled feel of what the tire is doing at all times. | ||

Kaudette, which Pirelli's are you running? I'm on Sportecs right now, but I was debating going to Pilot Sports or Diablos next time. | ||

Let me tell you friends a little story about the pirellis's(supercorsas).This past sunday,went for my usual ride to ortega hwy,was a glorius,cool morning,not too many cars on the road.Came upon a group of sport bikers,seemed to be dawdling,so's I went by five of the six,.. as we entered the carousel,the guy in front,(on a new R1),decided to pick it up,so we went,and as we pitched it in to the upper corner,(the waterfall),as it bounced off the rev limiter, I stuck it in fifth and wound it to the stop.These tyres are the absolute best!!! The best part was,as I went up next to him,he stood up and wheelied(in SIXTH),for a long ways,then turned around.Never saw him again that day,but it was fun riding with Valentino(at least that's how it felt)! | ||

Spike - Diablos - not the Corsas as I need to get some mileage out of these - looks like they will last longer than the 207's though. | ||

Kaudette, changing out my rear Diablo today, got about 8,500 miles out of it but it probably should have been changed about 500 miles ago. | ||

I only got 2800 miles on my 207 rear. No burnouts or wheelies. It was OK but... I just put a Z6 on the rear. I have about 400 miles on it and already like it better than the 207. The Z6 has a steeper profile which makes for quicker turn in & it takes alot more lean angle to get to the edge. I hope to get at least 6000 miles out of it. | ||

I just put a set of conti force road attacks on my XB.They seem to be some really good tires,been running them 2 weeks now,1000 miles so far in dry and wet conditions and they have been great.I read an article in one of the mags,seems they hired an engineer from pirelli to help design these.I would recommend them highly to ppl who commute. |
