Wycked wasn't kidding when he rambled about picking a star and riding it out. I cannot disclose where he went here. E-mail him if you wanna know.... |

you want that tied around a 12 pack? I am in the North East now and people are looking at me funny cause I am cold. They just don't get it. Anyways in the next couple of weeks I have to fly down to Phoenix to get the last of my stuff and U-haul it back here. When I get a date set I will post it up. |

See I told ya.... Hey Wycked, Definitely keep us informed. I'd like to ride out and buy you a beer if I'm off (or a Coke). Hope all is well. I hear the 191 calling! The time is fast approaching! |

I assume you're staying there then... Do you need a hand moving stuff into your U-Haul? If it's a hot day I won't be TOO much help seems how I'm from Alaska but let us know. As far as getting funny looks because you are cold up there... I know what you mean. I drive around town in my truck with a T-Shirt on and my windows down in the middle of the winter here... people think I'm nuts. |

Safe assumption. It would be cool, but I haven't figured out the logistics. A vanline company might be able to take everything but my bike for half the cost of a Uhaul. So if thats the case then Wycked goes on a LONG ride. 2.5 days by car figure 4 by bike. And I say that long only cause of my leg not letting me do more then 600 mile days. |

Uhhh? Roll Call? Who's in? Correct me if I'm wrong... Ski +1 Charles N' Elizabeth +2 Bart +1 Jwz said yes +1 Artful said maybe - Dbalista said maybe - M1 said yes +1 Plus a few of Bart's friends from New Mex +2-4? So far looks like 8-12 bikes, maybe more depending on the New Mexico crowd. Bart? Shaping up to be quite a group ride! I'm excited! I had so much fun last time. Please don't miss this. You'll regret it! Maybe we should start advertising at the local stealerships? If it's upside down and on fire, you've gone too fast! edited by charlieboy6649 on June 18, 2004 |

Well if we are going to meet at a dealership, let’s not meet at the Chosa's in Mesa, I've been writing them nasty grams about their pizz poor techs. Rather not give them any possible business if you know what I mean. I'm sure if ya all wanted to meet at my house it would be cool with the wife. Through out your inputs and we'll make it happen. NO!! No Stealerships! I still haven't found one I like here in the Valley. Ski, If your doing warranty work, your pretty much screwed, since you HAVE to take your bike to an authorized Stealership. If your just having regular work done, and you live on the eastside, I used to take my S2 to a shop on AZ ave, in Chandler called Chandler Custom Cycles. They are some pretty good guys, it's a Harley speed shop so working on my "tuber" wasn't a problem with them. Not sure if they work on XB's though. As far as a meeting place, I'm not sure where Jim lives in the Valley, I'm on the westside. Since we'll be heading up the Beeline, it seems easiest to meet at the gas station just north of the 202 on Country Club. Maybe meet there around 1300 hrs? Bart |

Ski I had really good luck with Hacienda in Scottsdale. Not only have the parts guys gone the extra mile to try and trackdown parts when I needed them even to the point of calling other out of state dealerships to see if they really do have the part on hand like it said in the computer but even in one case took the time to pull out all of their brakelines and help me sort through what they had on hand to see if we could come up with a match. The TPS reset was 1/2 and I got it done as a walk in with only an hour and half wait. They also are trying to put together a BRAG group so you guys might want to contact them as well. Wycked |

Wow, Wycked was the 1st customer out of probably 15,000 that actually received good service. I was told by the service manager himself, not to bring my Buell in because the shop's owners are concentrating on the profits, and NOT customer service. I was actually asked to speak with one of the mechanics about him doing the work on my Nallin motor on the side, and not through the shop. (not a good idea in my opinion) Wycked may have been helped by this very individual, hoping to put a smile on an otherwise very unhappy customer base. I believe the guys name is Kyle, his brother is Murrae, service manager at Santa Fe HD/Buell. Both Nallin and Santa Fe are scrambling to provide local support for my engine troubles and I commend them both. But it is depressing to be informed they have no local recommendations to have the work done on my motor, which is still under warranty. I may be forced to return to Santa Fe, just to receive the high quality of work, and customer service I am accustomed to. Chosa's used to have a great Buell service department, and strong BRAG group, but when Carey left, it all went out the door. I suspect Carey left due to his dissatisfaction with Chosa's in general. Chosa's was very vague returning responses in reference to the BRAG group. From what I understand the BRAG group is now nothing but a name on paper. SKI, If you'd like to go riding tomorrow, Sunday, Jim and I are going to get together around 1300 hrs. Out meeting place is still in the air as we are waiting to hear from you. Possibly we can meet at the gas station just north of the 202 on Country Club? Then we could just head up the Beeline... edited by bartimus on June 20, 2004 |

Well guys, Ya missed another Buelltiful riding day. Hooked up with Jim, the new guy, Here's a shot of him outside the Christopher Creek restaurant. Thanks for coming along Jim, I had a good time, great roads, good food, and cold beer... Yum, yum! We've got to do it again sometime. Brian, You don't have to worry about losing your spot at the back of the pack, this guy is pretty fast. Ski, sorry you missed out, Jim and I were discussing going for another ride on the next weekend I have off, but I just realized it will be the 4th of July. I'm sure most of you guys will be busy doing those "family" things I have no clue of. I have a friend from Michigan coming in that weekend, so I doubt I'll be able to make it, unless she wants to come along also. Kick it around and see what you can come up with. David, HURRY home! The Ridefest is coming up in 4 weeks. YOU CANNOT MISS THIS! We need more ride time! I hope all you Dad's had a happy Fathers day. ride hard, ride free, ride fast...

Jerry/Ferris, As we discussed on the phone, I'll be heading out on Friday, the 23rd of July, and meet you at Las Vegas HD/Buell around noon. I'll see what I can do about getting out of work on Saturday night. AZ Buellers! Anyone able to come with me to meet Alex as he starts his trip across America for the American Cancer Society? I plan on meeting them in 'Vegas and riding with him through part of Utah. Still not sure how far I can go. Think about it guys, this is for a good cause, and Alex can use the companionship I'm sure. Check your calenders!

I had planned on staying the night at thunderdome and riding the first leg with them to Zion. BUT, now I've got a family function to attend in Riverside area on the morning of the 24th. I don't know how I could make it work to be back in Riverside without running back and fourth across the desert like a moron. Jerry, What route are you guys taking from thunderdome to LV? Something was mentioned about a scenic route through Death Valley. Is it HWY 178? Maybe I could rendezvous with you guys and ride part way? |
