Does anyone have any experience with the shock upgrade to the K1400. My S2 has the '99 Showa. The dealership wants to take a look at my rear shock, but they don't seem to know to much. If anyone has been thru this I would like to know what to expect as to cost etc. Thanks, Randy |

Whey does the dealership want to look at your shock? Why do you want to let the dealership look at your shock? Unless they have a technician who is Buell sympathetic, they won't have a clue. If you really like your S2, consider an aftermarket like Penske or White Bros. or WP. Expect to spend $700+ and get performance to match. Or, you could get your Showa rebuilt to suit your weight and riding style. Search in the classifieds for Ccryder, he's done some pretty significant suspension work. Aaron Wilson has some experience with S2's as do some other regular posters. |
