Unlike the Iran vs. Israel & Western Civilization War, where it's about as B&W as it gets, Putin's War is complex. But it's not THAT complex. You can point to stupid stuff from the Israel version of Parliament/Congress, and it's a lot like a lot of the stupid that comes from such a body, So ASSUME A LONG RANT ON Parliamentary bodies, deleted to reduce boredom.  Ditto Russia, although they run more as a pretend Parliament, with the Big Guy having veto power over bills, lives, and family fortunes. So, Ukraine. Corrupt, ( Obviously, See Hunter ) couped by Obama's CIA & State, and under continuous threat from Putin wanting the industrial and tech wealth of the Eastern region. Putin starts Russian terrorist and Vote fraud operations in the Eastern Strip call it UES for short, and there are, yes, counter terrorist ops by Ukrainians, a small number in a group that uses Nazi symbols to be more scary. Who's the Aggressor & bad guy there? Well, Putin. I'm not going to argue a "who threw the first punch?" or who lived where longer? games since they go back to before the Soviets Conquered Ukraine, and history shows every "liberated" people got the bad end of the deal. ( although there are some Russia/China Border towns where that's very dependent on what year the conquest happened and there, if it was Maoist China? Yeah that sucked more. Different circles of Hell ) Bottom line is despite the idiots in the White House, ( except Trump & Reagan, iirc ) and the fawning toadies in Putin's Media, Putin Invaded. And got hundreds of thousands of people killed, including a huge part of the Russian Army. Worse, from Putin's perspective, the Industry he wanted to steal, is mostly trashed in the fighting, and the fearsome reputation of the WW2 Soviet Army is trashed just as bad. Worse, the reports of looting and war crimes, make it even more likely that anyone faced with Putin's Armies will rationally decide it's better to fight than tolerate. Worse, again, it's become obvious that an Army of conscripts from the "other ethnic" regions is requiring a heavier and heavier hand to keep going, and there's a huge racist aspect to Putin's War that Americans don't get. | ||
