All the video I've seen from Lebanon looked like battery fire pops. Lots of wrecked bags, both over the shoulder and in pants, but fatalities rare. It's the 21st century, even for 8th century warlord wannabees. Full penetration of cell towers and tech, especially near the most advanced country in the region. The only people with pagers use work issued ones. Like nurses. Cheap employers. Hezbollah bought the not untrue story that Mossad can track cell phones, and made a mass buy/switch to "safe" pagers. It's not 100% free from risk of collateral damage, aka hurting the wrong people. I expect to hear about injured nurses, etc. UNLESS the alleged pager blower uppers had real good intelligence on the "phone numbers", or, less likely, this whole thing is a Solar Storm incident and some weird coincidence just flipped a bit on one circuit?
